The best place to eat in Elgin. Everything is fresh and delicious, soups, wraps, bagels and daily specials. One word of advice when you do visit, ALWAYS leave room for the cake! ( or get it to take away, you won’t regret it.)

We were recommended The humble burger by a friend and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered 3 different burger types and 2 loaded fries and everything was demolished! Special mention to the chicken burger I think it was teriyaki oh my goodness it was amazing!!! Asked for plain chicken fillets for my son who is fussy and this wasn’t a problem. He enjoyed them! Would definitely recommend. Worth the queue and really it was only 15 mins after getting our order in that we had to wait.

Zaika is the best Indian takeaway in Elgin without a doubt. It’s a small family owned takeaway and everything is cooked fresh. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience here. My favourite is the Chicken Tikka Masaladar, it’s very spicy with a kick but also has a sweet tang to it. Highly recommend this. I have tried most of the speciality dishes and they are just equally as good.

The Bearded Chef catered our Wedding in September and the food was fantastic! Aaron and Kayleigh were both absolutely amazing and we can't thank them enough. The menu was tailored to us with new dishes and a personalised wedding cocktail as the welcome drink. The canapés were great but the main meal really stole the show. Melon with sorbet, smoked salmon and lentil soup were our choice of starters. Followed by haggis sagaloo pie, chicken stuffed with chorizo mousse with paprika sauce, fondant potatoes & veg medley and sweet potato cakes as the 3rd option. For dessert we had a trio so everybody could have a bit of everything. Highly recommend Bearded chef and would definitely use them again in future.

Honestly one of the best curries I’ve had in Scotland - good portion sizes and fresh ingredients the taste is like homemade quality. The staff are really nice too, I’ll definitely be coming back!

A lovely little tea ship that has an old fashioned feel. Real china cups and lovely setting. Simple but lovely good for with great scones and bakes. A little tight if you have a push chair or wheel chair but the staff are really helpful.

We always have a fantastic experience at Orrin. I suffer from a food allergy and the level of care taken by staff puts me at complete ease that I’m safe in their hands. They’re also able to advise on what parts of a dish will involve my uncommon allergen and it really shows the care and dedication taken with the food they make - and the knowledge of their produce. I don’t feel the same level of reassurance elsewhere, regardless of price point. We’ve paid more locally when dining out and Orrin blows them out the water. The food is always outstanding, and even my fussy 12 year old says the food is ‘amazing’. For those 18 and up, the cocktails are also delicious. We joke in our house that our tummies are sad after leaving. We look forward to cheering our stomachs up again soon!

Super cool and quaint spot! People are nice, cozy fire going when needed, pool table, and decent drinks. A few beer options

Our B&B host recommended the place so we give it a try. We started with the locally famous cullen skink that was one of the best we had in Scotland. My wife took the Scottish chicken and I went for the deep-fried Scottish prawns. Both were tasty and fine. Portions were generous so we skipped the dessert. Nice settings, friendly staff , reasonable prices.
