Zaika is the best Indian takeaway in Elgin without a doubt. It’s a small family owned takeaway and everything is cooked fresh. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience here. My favourite is the Chicken Tikka Masaladar, it’s very spicy with a kick but also has a sweet tang to it. Highly recommend this. I have tried most of the speciality dishes and they are just equally as good.

Been here numerous times as this is the go to, family run, Tandoori Takeaway in Elgin. Food is always excellent. If what you want is not on the menu, ask and they may be able to accomodate you. Cannot praise them enough.

We enjoyed our first zaika takeaway and wanted to compare it to where we would usually get our Indian takeaway. firstly i was so impressed with there being vegetables in some of the options. Highly recommend the chicken pakora it was cooked perfect, the garlic naan was nice and light with lots of flavour. The chicken tikka multani was amazing, the spice was perfect, would order this again. The chicken tikka garlic chilli masala (this is our go to dish at any indian) it tasted nice but wasnt spicy at all which was unexpected - there is the option to change the spice level for £2 on any dish. So i will try that next time. The chicken in both dishes was good and the sauces were fresh and portion sizes very good. . The onion bhaji was not to our personal taste, i prefer thinner crispy with more onion, they were thick and had a lot of the gram dough and not much onion. Aloo tikka as expected. Pilau rice was lovely. would try again with slightly different order

Trip down memory lane to Millbuies for a short walk. Great to see catering available and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee and treat (tasty jammie dodger that could feed a family). Friendly service, tasty food and drink just what you need on a morning walk.

Found this unassuming kiosk at the side of Grand Park beside children's playground. Ice cream offer was not huge but there were some delightful flavours. and the quality of the ice cream was excellent. We chose lemon and ginger, apple crumbed, cookies and cream and raspberry ripple. Not a bad choice between them. Some benches beside cafe to either watch over children playing or enjoy the beautiful trees in the grounds of the Park. All in all a gem of a find.
