Manna in Moray

This cafe offers good filter coffee and lovely cake and snacks in gently bohemian atmosphere. It is just off the high street in Forres down one of those narrow lanes that are a feature of this gracious old burgh. Good place to stop after shopping.

Considerate, delicious, fresh food. Fabulous service too. Highly recommended this place for nourishing, yummy food made just for you to order.

Love this place so much. It really encourages you to eat healthier and good variety of food. Very friendly staff and alwys up for a chat. Love how you can see your food getting made. Veggie and Vegan options avaliable. Seating is limited but if you go at a non busy hour its lovley.

Visited for lunch. The menu offered was great with the focus on healthy options. My wife and I very much enjoyed our dishes. The members of staff were friendly and very helpful and although the establishment is quite small the overall experience was great. Will definitely be back as this is by far the best eating experience we’ve had in Elgin.

Great service, great atmosphere, great food and a really considered offering. Lots of choices on the menu. Great way to eat "healthy" without sacrificing "Yum" Soup of the day was DELICIOUS and the toasted sourdough made me homesick it was so good

Without a doubt one of the tastiest meals I've eaten in Moray in a long time. Mikaela and her staff are very welcoming & were patient with my fussy teens. We also took some home where a 5 star review was also received. Would recommend highly & if you can go to one of their specials nights do so.

Visited on previous Trip Advisor recommendations. Excellent food, service... and they are trying hard to make room for people. Go - it's worth it.

Manna is a busy takeaway (with a few seats) that make fresh healthy light bites as you wait, with super friendly staff. Coffee with multiple milk options. Fresh soup every day. Loads of healthy, fresh options for fillings. Cakes are fabulous and cater for lots of dietary options. If you like food to be healthy yet still delicious and a little indulgent then this is your place. ( )

A teeny weeny café up a side street in Elgin is definitely worth a visit. Despite small seating area we managed to squeeze 7 around the table and were delighted to see a variety of healthy options on the menu. Great to see fruit and veg taking the limelight on the menu. Staff were very accommodating of our requests to add/amend our food choices. The gluten free option is limited to GF bread but nice to see it was actually available. My only suggestion would be a bit of side salad for the sandwiches, toasties, bagels etc. Not only to make it look good but to add to the veg intake!

My wife and I, by accident, came across this quirky place when hunting for a bit of ‘light’ food. It sits just off the High Street and definitely carries a unique personality.It may be small in it’s available floor space, but during our experience we found it delivers a vast choice in healthy drinks and snacks. I can’t remember anything on the menu that you would feel guilty about consuming - very much aimed towards promoting a healthy lifestyle.Our server / waitress was polite and sociable, making us feel very welcome throughout. My wife was happy as she had plenty to choose from as a devoted Vegetarian - it’s the first time in a while that she has struggled to make a choice!As our food and smoothies were served, we were blown away by the sheer difference in taste. You could say it was a very modern dining experience. We finished everything in front of us and we felt refreshed (instead of stuffed). Credit where it is due.Cost wise - slightly expensive but this is outweighed by the escape from the norm and the health kick you feel.Would we be back? Certainly. There were a number of choices we would have liked to have tried. Everything was fresh, made in front of you and served with a welcoming manner. Definitely worth a try for a somewhat ‘one of a kind’ experience!

Manna is centrally located and caters mainly for takeaway lunches but has a small seating area. A good range of fillings to go with bagels, wraps and pitta breads. Soup and hot and cold drinks with emphasis on healthy eating.Service friendly and quick, prices reasonable and my lunch was enjoyable

Love popping in here for a fresh orange juice and a cake. It's great this place thinks of people with food issues like gluten free, dairy, veggie and vegan.

Food was ok,staff were rude,service was slow and was not worth the wait.will not be going back one of worst places for customer service i have been too.

Visited here with some friends. Had one of the lunch specials with chickpeas and it was delicious as well as filling. Kept me going having just been to the gym for a workout.

We’re not vegan or vegetarian but LOVED the spicy lentil Dahl and halloumi, and the brownie and peanut butter cakes also amazing! Bruno loved his dog biscuits too- and all the attention🐶 thank you.

You are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the staff at Manna. I usually stick to a pitta and strawberry sparkle but opted for the home made soup on their recommendation. Served up with a chunk of sour dough bread it was filling and delicious. Loads of choice and the cakes are amazing too! Definitely one of my favourite places for takeaway lunch.

Great little place, friendly, chilled, good music, fantastic food, tasty coffee, beetroot and chocolate cake is just something else.....don’t walk past here to visit Starbucks or Costa.....

Manna has recently started opening on weekend evenings. Its a great place to go for something different and healthy. Healthy is often synonymous with boring, however this definitely is not the case here. There is one large table where you can be sat with someone you've not met before, atmosphere food and staff are great and you have the opportunity to meet new people.

Great smoothies, Always go here we normally get manna monkey smoothies and strawberry sparkle smoothies and BLT raps and bagels!! I would give this place a diamond 💎 If I could!!

My husband and I visited yesterday. Having recently changed our diets to more whole foods and less sugar I browsed the internet for vegan eats as it seems the easiest thing to do when pursuing treats out.

Popped in to treat my son to his favourite smoothie and decided to have a late lunch. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Ordered and the sandwich chef advised it would take a few minutes "is that okay." in truth we hardly waited at all and the bagels were DELICIOUS (as ever)

I have just had the Pastrami Liberty sandwich on sourdough bread with a freshly squeezed orange juice, then a chocolate brownie to finish..... delicious!!! Great lunch stop or for a quick refreshing juice or smoothie. I’ll definitely be back 👍🏽

Manna is a must if you are travelling through Elgin. Such a warm place, friendly staff, plenty of choices and fillings for your bagel or sandwich. Gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. I just fainted when first I tried their brownie!

Delicious fresh food. Great variety and made to order. Really enjoyed the soup and great selection of drinks and juices.

Nothing's too much trouble for the Manna team. Great, healthy food and gluten-free vegan cakes and home-bakes. Chilled chatty atmosphere. Highly recommended.

How nice is it to find a place that truly specialises in fresh healthy food, and having a large selection also. I had a multi seed bagel with club filling, the price was reasonable but so very tasty! Took a little longer than I’m used to but I suppose if it’s all fresh that the price you pay. Will definitely be going back whenever I’m in town.

Treat yourself, friends and family to some goodness for a change! Yummy, fresh and and friendly. I'm vegetarian, I've a GF friend and were both spoilt for choice. Staff are the best in town too!!

Manna was a great find for a quick lunch stop. The menu was pretty big considering it's such a small place - not that that's a bad thing, it just meant it took longer to come to a final decision!!

A lunch time saviour in an area where there's very little options to go Gluten and/or Dairy free. Friendly knowledgeable staff and a great choice for fillings. Only GF bagels available though. Some bread or baguette choices would be nice but quality of fillings makes up for this. Special Viking filling was superb and chilli jam spiced perfectly. Gone for pastrami liberty on this visit and humous in for msyo as there's dairy in it so really good work from staff. Be back here regularly now and will recommend catering service to my office.

Service was exceptionally friendly, prices are exceptionally high... and the menu was quite limited. If you're looking for somewhere to have a bagel, that seems to be mostly what's on offer here. Both times I visited, the items I wanted to order from the menu were not available/out of stock and the items I ordered instead I did not enjoy the flavours. For bagels and smoothies, it could be worth a try, but for anything else I would likely go elsewhere.

Finding take away food or a sit in a cafe that is both Gluten and lactose-free is a problem in Elgin. I imagine vegans have problems, but not here. The friendly staff go out of their way to cater for these specific diets. To the point of researching recipes and ensuring that Lactose and Gluten free ingredients are used. Such a delight to find homemade ice cream and cones that I can have on hot summer days. The biggest pleasure though is in the eating, fresh ingredients and good cooking and preparation. It is not fast food but the staff are all friendly and sociable. It is a pleasure to come in after a morning at work to sit and have a chat while waiting. The drinks are amazing and such a difference from the bland takeaway food that you have to get used to in Elgin with some Multinational chains. I would recommend this eaterie (regardless of allergies) highly and hope that others planning to sell food take Manna as an example to build on.

As we wandered through Elgin High Street a gentleman called Neil stopped us and recommended Manna for cake and coffee. Great recommendation!

Manna has become my go to eatery after work on a Friday afternoon and a Saturday lunch time. What a friendly atmosphere and the food is so tasty. It is not pricey compared to other places around Elgin. You ask for a bagel and you get a bagel and don't have to pay for all the bits of salad on the side like you get in other places - and let's face it do you really want all those bits of fru-fru. I had the spicey dahl with a spelt pitta bread. It was so tasty, I could have demolished a second bowl full but thought I was being greedy. Their cakes are gluten free and are delicious - especially the beetroot & chocolate cake - yummy!! No separate small tables, everyone sits together on either one long double-sided bench or a couple of bar seats. This makes for some interesting conversations. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and they are full of banter amongst themselves and with their customers. Well worth a visit folks.

I've visited Manna a few times and there's always been something new and tasty for me to try. I love their juices and I've tried some really nice cakes and bagels as well! I think it's nice that they're always changing their cakes and that they try and make at least some of them dairy and/or gluten free. I also like the fact that they serve food and drinks that are healthy and nutritious, but still delicious!

Lovely fresh juices and fresh sandwiches - love the B.L.T. bagel sandwich. Can recommend it, but only as a treat once in a while as I find it rather on the pricey side for a take-away lunch.

This is the best and only place in Elgin for excellent healthy food from bagels to smoothies. Great atmosphere too.
