The best restaurants in Thurso Highland Highlands and Islands

Not clean, carpets exceptionally dirty on entrance. Food was dreadful and I have genuinely no idea how they warrant some many stars. Chicken was not cooked in any tandoor that’s for sure, looked like just dipped in red liquid with some salt. Avoid completely.

A very sad situation. Don't bother anymore - a real shame- Previous owner/tennant who cared and did everything brilliantly has clearly moved on for good reason. We have been coming here for years. Food was great and vibe was tangible. Now .. food was not even worth our short drive from our hike 3 minutes away. We will not be back. A real shame as this was the jewel of thurso. Now a lump of coal at diamond prices. Owner is on another planet.

While browsing on Google maps - this shouldn't be an excuse, but this is the situation, we can only travel like this - I happened to see the Turkish restaurant in Thurso, Scotland... The name Derya... Actually, this may have been the first thing that brought me the thought of evil eye bead.... I was happy for no reason and wanted to write something. All the best.

Very tasty food, good selection, many options including vegetarian or vegan. The atmosphere could be a bit more cozy, but the food was very good and the service was very friendly.

Wonderful friendly local baker, all hand made in town. Cafe with tables & sit in. Brilliant bacon rolls freshly cooked to order and friendly service this morning before we caught the 0834 train to Inverness. Will be back! 100% recommended!

Didn't stay at this place but there is a lovely atmosphere in the pub with entertainment most times

Very welcoming, lovely staff. We had a Caffe Club Sandwich and it was FANTASTIC… who knew BBQ sauce and pineapple could taste so good.

Beautiful restaurant with beautiful food

We came to The Grove today for dinner and it was a great experience. Thank you Eddie for being so accommodating. Very good food and wonderful service. If we're ever passing through again we will definitely be back.
