Amazing food, freshly cooked to our preference. Josh the owner couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good experience. Definitely recommend a visit.

While browsing on Google maps - this shouldn't be an excuse, but this is the situation, we can only travel like this - I happened to see the Turkish restaurant in Thurso, Scotland... The name Derya... Actually, this may have been the first thing that brought me the thought of evil eye bead.... I was happy for no reason and wanted to write something. All the best.

Awesome bakery on the north coast. Particularly like their pies, sausage rolls, bridies, butterflies and caramel donuts

After waiting outside for 15 minutes for Olive to open, the Manager eventually opened with no apology for keeping customers waiting. He said they were short staffed but when I enquired as to why there wasn’t a sign explaining this he said “it was online”. I said that was no use if you were standing outside. I also said that in the time I was standing there five customers had given up waiting and gone elsewhere. The manager then stated “he didn’t care and if I didn’t like it I could go elsewhere” I have now gone elsewhere and won’t be going back like many others.

Tucked away down an alley but worth tracking down. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and reasonably priced. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options.

We enjoyed our dinner here. The restaurant has a bar attached and overall good and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My fish and chips dish was good and the vegetarian burger was also tasty. I would definitely return here when next in Thurso.

Stopped in today for lunch with the dog, really great food, friendly staff, and speedy service.

Popped in for a mocha before a hair appointment, place was packed which was lovely to see, managed to grab a window seat which is my favourite place to sit, mocha was perfect. Lovely selection of cakes and fab choice on their menu aswell as daily specials

Went for our OAP dinner. Everything was delicious food lovely and hot. Mincemeat pies Devine. service was great Enjoyed immensely. Could not fault a thing

Excellent cafe; run by volunteers. Really impressed with the service and decor of the setting. Staff were friendly and well informed about the dishes on offer. Went here for lunch with 2 friends and we were all impressed with the quality and range of food offered. I also like the system of paying by donation. We enjoyed playing pool (for free) in the games room after our meal. We will definitely return.
