Awesome bakery on the north coast. Particularly like their pies, sausage rolls, bridies, butterflies and caramel donuts

Visited on a cold damp November day, lovely coffee, and a meringue snowman! Lovely.

This is a wee gem of shop selling amazing pies and cakes. The bakery is traditional Scottish family run and the staff are very friendly and helpful and just looking at the cakes makes your mouth water. This is a must go to bakery for your pies and cakes.

Who ever thought microwaved bacon was a thing. Terrible.

Came in out of the rain & wind! Warm, great customer service and the bakery items were delicious! Many locals purchasing sandwiches and baked goods. A must try!

The food is always good here but some of the staff need a lesson in customer service. It is unpleasant to be served by somebody who clearly doesnt want you there.

The bakery was nearly ready for closing but the staff made us welcome and served us tea and cakes.

If the service is a little friendlier and smiles, then this café is great! Fine pastries, good coffee and a very fair price.

Looked nice but at 7:48 I was told that the cafe didn’t open until 8.. a lady was there.. there was no-one else in the shop.. this kinda ‘computer says no’ attitude should be long dead..

This has to be the most expensive cafe I have been to that provides the lowest quality food. My partner and I had a jacket potato and a small pie, with two cupcakes. £24 and the jacket potato was a frozen potato and absolutely tiny for £8 served with some wilted lettuce and stale crisps. The cupcakes were so dry we couldn't eat them, not sure if they were just left out for several days. There seems to be a nicer bakery around the corner we wish we saw first.

Had coffee & hot chocolate before journing on to get ferry at Scrabster. Its small but the staff are friendly and do a great job. Maybe owner should get the outside of the shop painted.

There's always a great selection of wonderful baking to be had here - but I wish they would do their excellent pork sausage rolls all week instead of just on a Friday and Saturday.

Pies to die for, brilliant selection of cakes. If you are visiting it is well worth a visit

We were travelling to Orkney and stopped in by to your shop and had a lovely snack so we thought on our way home we would stop by again, we ordered two cappuccinos but unfortunately they were cold, so I told the lady, well her manner was disgusting, she took them away and made another two well they were so hot it nearly burned our mouths, she muttered about the temperature probe not working properly, what a shame this had to happen at the end of our lovely holiday... we won’t be back!!!

Disappointed that having stopped here and spent on food and drink, we were refused access to the toilet. Apparently this is only for “seated customers”. I’m not sure what the difference is between having food to go or eating the same food at one of their tables. Totally illogical. Whilst I am able to overlook the unfriendly manner in which this was communicated to us, I thought it was particularly mean to not allow paying customers to use the washroom facilities. Suspect this is one of those places that likes to take tourist money but hates the tourists. Food was OK. I wouldn’t return.

Never usually write reviews but I visited today and felt the level of customer service was non existent. I understand it's a hard time for all but a friendlier reception wouldn't have gone a miss and that ordering items (buying my lunch) is not putting the staff to a massive hassle considering that's their job role. I literally ordered 5 items. On the pkus side, the food was delicious!

It is a traditional bakery-cafeteria. Everything we tried was delicious, super fresh and great price. They have some scones that are a delicacy. Plus the coffee is very good. The attention is magnificent.

Popped in for a nice pie - but alas it was 1300 and they were dried out and sub par. Coffee was good, staff were friendly.

Cheeky rude staff and vastly overpriced, better off going to Tesco, no wonder small local shops are closing because of being forced to charge a fortune

Absolutely fantastic had my partner and brother in law here, as soon as you walk in the door all staff can't do enough to make you welcome. I struggle to hold a small cup, so staff gave me another with a better handle, we each had the mega breakfast which was very tasty and value for money with a beverage refill included. Decor is really we thought out, tables a little small but manageable, any one about the area highly recommend.

Good place to head to for a quick bite to eat.
