What an awesome place!! I came here with my family and we all had separate rooms due to the size. The rooms were nice, the roomservice was nice, but the staff and the location there are what made it. I LOVED being right in town with access to shops and the gorgeous water way right out front. The bartenders were such friendly people and the manager Ben was absolutely super! It's a populated town in a quiet little area, which is quite perfect. It's the type of place that truly makes you wanna stay.

Our car broke down right outside the hotel, and the staff were incredibly kind—letting us use their phone to call roadside assistance. While waiting, we grabbed breakfast and coffee, and both were excellent. Really appreciated how helpful and friendly everyone was, and would stay here next time in town.

You couldn’t ask for a better location in Inverness. Great sport across from the river. Beautiful views of the river, nice spot to stroll, and close to shops and restaurants. Front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean. It was very quiet and peaceful. Ambience overall seemed a bit dated and dark, with some touch ups needed. Restaurant was ok but not worth the hype in my opinion.

3 day 22 night stay this week. A quite excellent hotel with the rooms (and lollipop) of a very high standard. I popped my calf muscle and did not get out and about as we had hoped. The staff should be proud of themselves and are a credit to this excellent hotel. The meals were outstanding. Definitely a return at some point. Well done and many thanks 💞👏👏👏👏👍👍

Our stay at Glenmoriston was lovely! Thank you to all the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Lorraine who was great. Our room was nice, with a huge comfy bed. A little freshen up if facilities might have made it perfect. The setting of the hotel, just along the riverside is gorgeous, and the location meant a 10/15 minute walk to everything in the centre. We really enjoyed our full Scottish breakfast, and our evening meal at the Contract Brasserie too. Thanks again!

Booked the room via Trivago. Description: Cozy Double Bed... (Room n.3). This is not a double bed or mattress. The bed is mad of two single twin beds attached together. On top of the mattress was placed a thick double duvet, which made the bed extremly hot during the night. The room was sold to me as a 4 star hotel... Nowhere near I would say. No lounge, is either Piano Bar or Restaurant. The whole structure is outdated and the online description and photos of the Hotel are missleading. When we arrived at half two in the afternoon, we were asigned room n. 3 at the first floor. To check-in I was requested a debit/credit card from which they would witheld 50 pounds for any possible room charge, with the promess to refund this amount if unused at the end of the stay. At the moment, nothing has been refunded so far. Entering the room, you definitely didn't have a feeling of coziness. Small/Medium sized, very outdated, the floor carpet stained, the bathroom oldfashioned with a cascade shower that was installed after the rest of the shower unit. The drain at the base of the shower didn't almost drain any water leaving all the dirty floating and subsquently on the shower base floor. The view was over the back roof of the structure which is undergoing possible repairs or waterproofing as it was completly covered by a plastic membrane full of moss. Beautiful. The coffe/tea maker provided had one (literarlly one) of each option given, tea (English Breakfast) ONE sachet, Nestcafe Original ONE small sachet, Nestcafe Decaf. ONE small sachet, Hot Chocolate ONE sachet, Sugar and sweetener, ONE small sachet. And the incredible generosity of ONE packet of butter biscuits. Nothing more and nothing less. In the very outdated cup oard, the room has a full ironing set and robes. My question standes in..... Is the above at 4 stars hotel? And as advertised online by the booking webpages? When we saw the room and went downstairs for a drink, I attempted to ask if by any chance, even paying extra, they would have been any alternative room. Unfortunately not as apparently all the double rooms where booked and at the question of "Why? Is there anything wrong with your room?" my simple response to the receptionist was, "Maybe is me... as I was expecting something else...!" Looking forward to receive the refund.... and only book this facility if you are willing to stay in a two stars accommodation.

We had a delightful stay in this cosy, high quality hotel. The room was spacious, bed huge and comfy and the shower powerful. Lovely touch to get a call an hour or so in to make sure we were happy with the room. Every one who worked there was super friendly and helpful and the food is fabulous. It was booked as a last minute treat before heading home and we loved it. It will be the go to hotel in Inverness for us now.

Booked deluxe king room, annexe river view way back April 2024 from 31st December until 3rd January. We have been going up to Inverness at this time for many years and were really looking forward to it. My partner has long covid and a request was made specifically for this room and lower floor. We received a call today to advise WE would have to move rooms ( it was same style room on first floor but not what we requested) as someone else had been given the room today. We were told that a staff member had made an error, then the staff member had left, then the person who got the room.had had a hip and knee operation and couldnt be moved to the first floor( i do empathise but equally my partner has healrh issues) but my partner was expected to do so.The room.had been booked from April therefore we shouldve been treated respectfully, given the room and staff shouldve sorted something for the other guests but instead we were treated in the most disrespectful way. Despite being a regular at this time of year, we have been left upset and disappointted. I could not bring self to stay in a place that treats its customers so badly so fortunately for my partner we managed to get a room in another hotel. We will never step foot in this hotel again. I also believe there needs to be staff training carried out albeit I believe staff member is a poor excuse. Poor service

The rooms are really outdated. Our room had a corner shower, too small for a woman to wash her hair properly. The shower head cannot be moved and really needed replacing. The room was also very sad and really not cozy and old. The 'double' bed was very bad, we had a difference in level between our 2 mattresses and we only noticed it when we went to sleep. The breakfast was also substandard. The area is worth seeing, hence probably the expensive hotel prices. The high price means that as a guest you have certain expectations about the room, at least cozy! In short, we were really dreading spending the night in this old and uncomfortable room :-( and therefore left for our next destination earlier than originally intended. The high reviews are mainly for their restaurant.

We stayed for three nights in Inverness for a family wedding. The service from the staff was impeccable. They made every effort to remember you and ask about your day/activities which was lovely. Breakfast was really well presented with plenty of options. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The piano bar was a nice addition and was a great place for us to meet up with friends/family to have a relaxing drink. The rooms were clean and modern. They were also toasty warm. The only thing that let it down was the slightly dated bathroom and view from room. We didn't pay extra for a river view and were content with any view. However the black coverings on the roof did let it down a little bit due to noise when windy. Really great location being about a 5 minute walk along the river to the city centre. Also free parking. Fantastic stay. Would definitely stay again 😊.

The Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel is a great place to stay if you're looking for a central location in Inverness. The hotel is just a short walk from the city center, which is home to many of Inverness's most popular attractions, such as the Inverness Castle, the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery, and the Ness Walk. The hotel also has a great restaurant that serves delicious Scottish cuisine. The breakfast menu is particularly impressive, with a wide variety of freshly cooked options to choose from. Here are some of the things I loved about the breakfast menu. The Scottish breakfast is a must-try. It comes with everything you could ever want, including haggis, black pudding, eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. The full English breakfast is also a great option. It includes all of the same ingredients as the Scottish breakfast, plus beans, tomatoes, and mushrooms. The vegetarian breakfast is also very good. It includes a variety of vegetables, such as mushrooms, tomatoes, and beans, along with eggs and toast. The gluten-free breakfast is also available. It includes a variety of gluten-free options, such as eggs, toast, and fruit. No matter what your dietary restrictions are, you're sure to find something to enjoy on the breakfast menu at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel. The staff at the hotel is also very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. For example, when we arrived at the hotel, we were feeling a bit jet-lagged. The front desk staff kindly gave us a map of the city and suggested some places to visit. The staff at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel is always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. They are truly one of the best things about this hotel. Here are some other things I loved about the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel: The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The beds are comfortable and the linens are soft. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The hotel has a lovely garden that is perfect for relaxing in. The hotel has a free parking lot. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, conveniently located, and has excellent staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Inverness. Here are some additional tips for planning your stay: Book your room in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak season. Ask for a room with a river view. The views are amazing. Take advantage of the hotel's free parking. Visit the hotel's restaurant for a delicious meal. Explore the city of Inverness. There are many things to see and do in this beautiful city. My wife and I stayed at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel and we loved it The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the breakfast menu, which had something for everyone. We will definitely be back!

Rudest service I have experienced during my entire trip in Scotland. No greeting or farewell, no help with the fish selection - which really isn't that big - even though it was asked... Girl, what should I do? At least acceptable prices for the “chips” that were fried too short and the “fish” that were fried too long.
