The best restaurants in Inverclyde South West Inverclyde Glasgow and Surrounding

First time back since last year . Much improved. Kerr our waiter friendly and helpful. Menu so much better and wait times shorter for food. Had stopped going as delay for food sometimes over an hour. In marina . Window seat and nice post prandial stroll down to beach afterwards.

Such friendly staff, I always get delivery, usually treat the kids to one at the weekend, its very quick, tasty and very happy lovely delivery drivers. Great shop.

Honestly the best 3 course meal I've had in my life. We all got 3 courses and evert course was tremendous. Staff are super helpful and patient. The young lad that served us, Lewis was fabulous and could not do enough for us. No wonder it's always busy. Best food ever and very reasonable price too. Well done inverkip hotel. X

What a lovely little cafe the welcome as soon as you walked in made all the difference. All the food made freshly burger looked home made and I have never had a toastie with so much cheese oozing out and on tiger bread it was lovely. The selection of cakes and ice cream are mouth watering. Myself and grandson were stranded as we needed to get back to ferry not realising there is no bus on leaving the owner stopped his car and went out of his way to take us to ferry what a lovely thing to do proves there is some lovely people out there. We will definitely return a gem of a place thank you

Best takeaway in Greenock. You have definitely got to try here.

Very nice food, I think is the best place in Greenock where to get chicken tikka stuff, and pizza with deep sauces, and chicken pakora is so good

Nice warm and friendly welcome from staff. Lovely tasting food at reasonable prices. Very clean and tidy.

Had fish n chips haddock with bones, £3 for can of Coke Zero I don't think I will go back, only had chips for lunch it's a shame food looked very nice can't eat fish with bones in it got a refund but still had no dinner

Been visiting on way home for past few months. Had heard various reports since it changed hands but IMO it’s better than ever! Staff very friendly especially the chief fryer and the pasta chef! Top blokes! The pasta menu looks fab and after a wee taster from the chef I can only agree! Well done team macaris and we’ll see you soon! From the Rothesay Bowlers 😉👍

Very very disapointing as orderd from here the other day , the boss was extremly rude to me when i asked for some napkins with my order he then replied with THIS IS NOT A RESTURANT , also i had asked for toppings on my pizza which he completly ignored . Would not recommend this place at all . first and last time for me . If i could give zero star i would .

Lovely people, beautiful setting an̈d interior. My meal and my wife's were goodish,( very skinny sea bass) but granddaughter's cheesy nachos were spicy and overcooked, almost burnt, she ate 2, I tried them,they were awful. We didn't complain, as the wait wouldn't have been worth it, as we had another appointment.

Great pizza & the app makes it a smooth experience. As far as I can tell it is takeaway only.

Visited the Chartroom today .Not been there for some time since the new owners had taken over .Was curious to see what the service etc, was like .We had not booked a table but when we arrived on site the place was completely empty apart from one table at the window. When we asked for a table there was total confusion over this as we had not booked and it was a krypton factor answer weather we are able to get a table or not .Bearing in mind we were only looking for a bowl of soup (light lunch).After a bit of un-organized decisions we were then offered a table but by this time we decided just to get a drink at the bar .We then sat at the bar and paid almost £15 for a red wine and a pint of Peroni while sitting for almost 45miniutes there was still no one else came in to sit down for lunch and you couldn't accommodate us for a light lunch ,not to mention the fact that the manager ( and I use the term loosely was rude and an had no empathy with her her young staff at all. .Sorry but don't understand the ethos behind this .Any way we went over to the Inverkip hotel and had a very nice bit of lunch hassle free ,sorry chart room but don't think we will be back again .

Visited here a couple of times and the garden centre can be a bit chaotic with not much of a sense of order in most areas, the cafe has always served decent hot food and generous portion sizes

Shocking. Waited nearly 2 1/2 hours after putting order on Clyde Eats. Called them a few times only to be told they were busy !
