Chartroom Restaurant & Bar in Inverclyde

Visited the Chartroom today .Not been there for some time since the new owners had taken over .Was curious to see what the service etc, was like .We had not booked a table but when we arrived on site the place was completely empty apart from one table at the window. When we asked for a table there was total confusion over this as we had not booked and it was a krypton factor answer weather we are able to get a table or not .Bearing in mind we were only looking for a bowl of soup (light lunch).After a bit of un-organized decisions we were then offered a table but by this time we decided just to get a drink at the bar .We then sat at the bar and paid almost £15 for a red wine and a pint of Peroni while sitting for almost 45miniutes there was still no one else came in to sit down for lunch and you couldn't accommodate us for a light lunch ,not to mention the fact that the manager ( and I use the term loosely was rude and an had no empathy with her her young staff at all. .Sorry but don't understand the ethos behind this .Any way we went over to the Inverkip hotel and had a very nice bit of lunch hassle free ,sorry chart room but don't think we will be back again .

Really disappointed, menu sounded good but food was terrible and not as described on the menu. Won’t be going back for food again.

Visited with 4 family members, including 90 year old grandmother, for dinner. It was a warm, sunny evening and all but 1 table was in direct sun. We asked to be moved twice as we were uncomfortably hot and wearing sunglasses. The owner told us the 1 table out of the sun was booked for 6pm, 90 minutes after our reservation and there was nothing she could do to make us more comfortable. I suggested the restaurant could use blinds and she said she couldn't afford them, she rented the restaurant space. The food was mediocre. We may have stayed and had dessert and coffee but under the circumstances we couldn't wait to leave. We won't return.

To have a meal with my husband, to spend some quality time with him. He has a serious illness and it was a treat to get out. We were running late and I called and they very kindly fitted us in an hour later. It was no trouble to the girls. When we arrived we were greeted with smiling faces and a lovely warm welcome. We had a lovely meal and the girls made is so welcome and very attentive to us, which made it so special for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending to come along and get a great experience. We look forward to returning. Thank you all once again.

Fuimos a Inverkips El Chartroom para cenar tarde en la tarde. Inmediatamente nos dio la bienvenida y nos llevaron a una mesa con una camarera muy agradable y amigable. La ubicación con vistas hermosas a la marina, es fresca, muy bien decorada y no sentir que lo apretados en muchas mesas ... había un montón de espacio. Los entrantes fueron seguidos de deliciosos platos principales que estaban bien presentado y bien preparado. Las raciones son mejor que raciones medianas y después de dos campos que estaban satisfechos hasta el punto de rechazar el menú dulce ... lo que no nos importó en absoluto como la comida antes era excelente. El menú es variado desde hamburguesas hasta bistecs, etc. El precio nos pareció razonable teniendo en cuenta la buena ubicación. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Organizamos para pasar cena Fin de Año con amigos en el Chartroom. Primera vez en Año Nuevo. Fue absolutamente fantástico. La comida estaba muy bien presentado y sabor increíble. La noche nos calentaron Ceilidh con la banda en vivo y luego el Piper salió en las Campanas. Sin olvidar las canciones fabulosas desde ninguno aparte de Bill Smith radio Clyde DJ. Director Kevin nos dio una bienvenida muy agradable ya que regularmente comer en este restaurante en ocasiones especiales. Vale cada céntimo y lo pasamos de maravilla!

La comida, el servicio y el ambiente es muy bueno, no obstante es absolutamente pan tostado por dentro. Tan pronto como usted haya comido tienes que dejar. He estado un par de veces y cada vez ha sido la misma. He estado con diferentes personas que también lo mismo, así que no es sólo yo. Es una pena porque al estar tan cerca de la marina sería agradable para sentarse y disfrutar de las vistas.

Siempre unas impresionantes vistas de la Marina y el río rodea y colinas especialmente en un día soleado. El restaurante tiene moqueta detenido el ruido estar las sillas utilizada para hacer raspado al otro lado de la planta. La opción de menú para vegetarianos con los viejos favoritos para carnívoros. Tuve un linguini con salsa de hongos, que no estaba en el menú, pero se hizo a mi petición. llegó a la mesa tibio pero fue rápidamente recalentados y devueltos. La carne de mi hermana estaba muy bien cocinados y caliente. Creo que mi plato fue dejado de lado hasta ella estaba listo. El chef debería haberse percatado mío no estaba caliente y que no debería haber sido enviado ( o quizás he estado viendo demasiado Gordon Ramsey. El otro problema fue viendo una camarera limpiar una mesa desocuparse antes simplemente barran el escombros en la alfombra de delante de los comensales.Antihigiénicos e inaceptable. Estábamos allí temprano. No me hubiera gustado ver la planta o paso en ella más tarde en el día. Dicho esto, sin duda prueba el restaurante de nuevo si la limpieza y comida problemas de temperatura fueron resueltos.

Fue extraño pasa los aseos públicos y una lavandería que funciona con monedas para llegar al lugar, pero nos esperaban que el restaurante en sí podría compensar. El aspecto y el ambiente inicial, y la mala distribución de la mesa, realmente no lo hicieron. Por desgracia, también nos desembarcó con la camarera deprimente. Sin embargo, el lugar fue salvado por la comida. Fresco, llena de sabor y bien presentado. Las vistas también estaban bien. Con un poco de amor y atención, el restaurante y el servicio podría ser tomadas escalafón varios.

El Chartroom no anuncian su presencia! Tres de nosotros fuimos para el almuerzo - estaba lleno a reventar y ruidosa y como teníamos una persona anciana huésped retenidos nosotros, mi alma. El servicio también era rápido y todos disfrutamos nuestras comidas. Yo opté por las tapas escoceses, que era una opción divertida y agradable, mi marido fuimos para el salmón y nuestros amigos fuimos para el bacalao y el sofocante pollo, un montón de comida!!! El restaurante tiene un ambiente agradable y disfrutamos de la noche. Sin duda recomendaría el Chartroom y nos quedamos impresionados con las críticas negativas. Sin duda vale la pena probarlo!

Fuimos a cenar en una fría y húmeda del lunes por la noche. Muy tranquilo, pero empezó a llenarse cuando nos íbamos. El personal es muy agradable, con una buena selección de comidas, las comidas de los niños una gran relación calidad-precio. En general, una exquisita comida y no estaba mal de precio! Pruébenlo ustedes mismos! Sería precioso para sentarse afuera en el verano.

Hemos ido a esta zona y quería darle a este lugar a donde ir. ellos nos perdonaron dos veces por la lentitud del servicio, pero después de nuestra tercera visita decidimos será el último. Mientras disfruta de un lovey sábado con los niños, mi marido, 2 niños y amigos decidimos visitar el Chartroom para una refreshemnt y deje que los niños juegan. La única mesa libre fuera estaba cubierta de copas vacías y platos sucios. Mi marido recomienda los camareros que nos miraran en él. Después de pasar los vasos nosotros mismos, ponerlos en el bar, muy caros que las compras 3 paquetes de papas fritas, cuando me preguntaron por el precio me recibieron con el barman los lirios poniendo sus brazos en el aire, que dice en voz alta "no fijar los precios". No es una actitud o respuesta que cabe esperar de el personal de la recepción.

We visited this restaurant whilst staying at the Marina .We have visited before.The restaurant is,as described by other people very modern.It was very quiet and we were able to book a table easily.The staff were very friendly .We ordered fish and chips and really enjoyed the food.We will be back again when we are next in the area.
