Red Turban in Inverclyde

Absolutely horrendous attitude from staff. Tried to order on JustEat to Wemyss Bay caravan park where previous reviews show they deliver to and I'm told NO we do not deliver there with an abrupt hang up of the phone. On calling back to say best to tell JustEat you don't deliver here I'm told NO MEANS NO!!! Absolutely awful treatment and after reading some other reviews just as well we didn't eat anything from this place......looks awful

Donner meat was dry and stale and wasn't nice at all. It's normaly really good but this time it was very poor.

Over an hour late, the smell of the pizza is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t feed that pizza to a wild animal. I order from here quite often. However after this shambles tonight I will not be back.

Delivery was fine although took a long time but I knew that. Food was very greasy and salad consisted of onion. Chips were nice

Ordered from here multiple times to give them benefit of doubt, however, each time it has taken two hours from ordering to getting the food delivered. When looking to place the order it’ll say approx 45mins for delivery, immediately after paying for the order you get notified it’ll take longer (an hour) and then you wait over an hour after the original scheduled delivery time. When calling to find out the order status they say it’s on the way and won’t be long, when you attempt to find out what that means in terms of how many minutes, they hang up. Time management & customer service skills are awful, won’t be using or recommending this place. Food is just ok (lamb chewy), not worth the wait!

The call handler was extremely arrogant and cheeky and told me that he was too busy to wast time talking to me and hung up the phone. I always have ordered the same Ceylonese Korma because it was great...until tonight...it's been quite a while since I've ordered from Red Turban...the Ceylonese Korma I had tonight was flavourless...tasted like nothing and I mean nothing ...the rice and chapati saved me from hunger ...small amount of chicken for the price and the rice is a separate charge... Won't be ordering again ..

Had our usual order. As always great food. Did use restaurant but can't leave without ticking the box.

Food was good but disappointed in "Just Eat" service -- should have facility to call customers if the initial advised delivery time is going to be WAY over ... waited 1hr 45mins

Curry is always good here, I would say my favourite in Inverclyde but we also had a chicken burger with bbq sauce. Not that great. The good curry is the reason I kept coming back but the service is shocking. Always minimum of an hour late. When u call them they are extremely rude to u and also don't give u the truth of time for ur order. Delivery people are always brilliant though. Polite and apologetic on behalf of the rude people that answer the phone. Such a shame as they could be brilliant if they got themselves some manners and delivered when they say!

Order was mixed up on the saturday night so didn't get what was ordered and what we did get wanst great .red turban sorted issue for us after a phone call and resolved the next day. Great customer service. Can't fault it

Absolutely terrible.. waited almost 3 hours then got a small tub of curry and about 5 chicken pakora. Stupidly thought that for £7.95 rice would be included with my curry, when I rang to ask, I was told to get lost. £20 for waste of time Cheers. Terrible attitude and service

Pizza box was bashed considerably and varlic dip spilled all over the top. Order was about 30 mins over estimated time too. Surprisingly the pizza wasn't ruined and still reasonably warm.

Arrived late ordered a king prawn curry. The prawns smelled funny so I washed some of the korma sauce off and they were clearly old/black in bits all them weren’t prepared properly. The whole load went in the bin. Would not recommend and will be asking for a full refund on an entirely manky meal.

Food was up to standard everything was well made only issue was that it ended up getting cold within about 5 minutes as it was delivered room temperature (pizza)

I placed an order for delivery the food was over 1hour late and when i call the restaurant to see where my food was they told me that it was on its way, I informed them that as this was 1hour+ late i would like some sort of a refund or discount. To which they told me i can not do that and hung up on me. I recommend that people never use this take away and i will never be going there again as there customer service is rubbish.

Food could have been warmer and some of the chicken pakora was undercooked. Pakora sauce very watery. Korma sauce was "just" okay.

Last time I order with them!! Every time we order it's late and when u call them they are rude to you and will never apologise. Shame as food is ok but not that great to put up with poor customer service. Plenty of other good takeaways that know how to treat customers so we will take out business to them. Ordered from this place when at the caravan, food was absolutely vile, 8 of us were hear and not 1 could even stomach it, sauces were runny and tasteless and to add they gave us under half a tub of sauce... They have the cheek to charge you £4'50 for delivery 😂 food was inedible, if I could have gave 0 stars I would have!!! Worst £20 I've ever spent 😶

Delivery guy drops my food, food covered in irn bru as bottle burst all over it, driver didn't bother to bring another at all nearly an hour since ( I've gave up calling) and the shop refuse to answer the shop

Lovely food but it was nearly 2 hours since I ordered until delivery. 5:30pm I ordered 2 things. Delivery to be 6:25 to 6:45pm; had to call them at 7pm, food arrived 7:20pm. Really not good enough. Worth waiting for but I'm dubious about ordering again if delivery is going to be this long.

Food was 40 minutes late from time requested and 30 mins late from restaurant estimate time.

Chips stated and in picture are hand cut large potato chips (chippy chips and in chip shop category) so I ordered and was skinny chips in a tiny portion for £3 . Was greatful I didn’t pay for the larger potion . Picture needs updated ! Over an hour late And on a brighter note … the Calzone was great !

Not up to the usual standard tonight guys! Hubby kept waiting 20mins after suggested pick up time. Both Hoggies had kebab sauce on them, I clearly asked for garlic through your own App. One person doesn't like kebab sauce. The kebab I ordered was meant to be large, I beg to differ, more a small. Not a happy bunny, sorry!

I really wanted to be able to leave a great review but sadly I can't. The chicken was extremely dry which considering it was drowning in sauce was quite amazing. The "vegetable" curry was actually potatoes and frozen peas, to be fair there were a couple of over cooked cauliflower sprigs. I find it hard to believe that anyone remotely interested in cooking produced the boxed up leftovers. Given for the same price I could have gone to cafe continental and had a fresh cooked fish of steak it does have to make you think. Photographic evidence is available. Should the proprietor wish to see the meals they will be in my bin.

Ordered early. Very late delivery and swimming in oil. Avoid !
