Costa Coffee in Inverclyde

Same stars as last posting. Baristas are always helpful however please get the stock order more on point. Sometimes there appears a shortage of certain food items. I wonder if Costa is no longer doing their recycling award for their outlets. Costa should boldly push a campaign to encourage their outlets and customers to recycle their used (empty) cups and lids.

Was standing in the shop for 20 min before anyone came out too busy in driveway window talking and no cars at driveway

Good usual Costa quality, member of staff efficient but no sign of a smile. Cold air from ventilation on a cold morning

Best coffee,good quality food,and helpful staff.

Waited to be served as the girls had a long chat in the kitchen area, meantime the queue grew to 3- 4 customers waiting to be served. Sit in paper cups only, probably they couldn't be bothered loading the dish washer. Won't be back for sure.

All Costa shops in Inverclyde have a good selection of food and drinks for sale. Customer service is very good as well.

Nothing left, everything I asked for was out of stock! So when I opened my 'cheese and tomato' panini I was shocked at how little tomato was inside. It a complete rip off, go somewhere else and get value for money, plenty of snack vans around!

Never received coffee points and never realized until a few days later

Popped in for a quick toastie and latte as tragedy struck as I stopped outside to make a phone call. My car broke down and I had to wait on AA. Oh my goodness, that coffee was fab. Servers were just lovely and it was made in a couple of minutes. Well done women of costco. I only left a 50p tip I regret it, it should have been more. Next time I pass it will be. Hope my car doesn't die on me again. 😆

This is the second time in the last week we have had problems here. 1. Wrong order, its not rocket science is it to get the order right...especially when its only TWO LATTES.....! Historicaly we stopped coming here as they find it absolutely impossible to do the following order: 1 x large latte, 1x large latte , wet and one shot.....how hard can it be? So as they are going back to their old ways we shant be visiting again .... 2. My wife has just returned from costa and I see the large latte is less than half full .....adding the quarter cup of foam this is a QUARTER OF A CUP....Really? when you also ask for a wet latte (no foam) then this is wrong on many levels.

Went to the drive through asked for a drink that was advertised on the menu to be told we don’t do that to which I replied it’s on the board! Server replies with don’t think so. Very poor attitude and also my drink reflected the attitude of the server which was most likely deliberate. Won’t be back

This place has became a bit of joke between me and my friend we sometimes head up to sit and have a coffee and a yap but I always say wonder if one of the staff will crack a smile this time ! But no smile and no niceties ! Even had to ask her to fill my cup up me and my friend got a half a cup in the large paper cup ! When I asked she just puffed and filled it 🤷🏿‍♀️ Should have nicer staff in there like Greenock or largs ! They let the place down

Pretty decent coffee but wow these toasties are horrible! Who even though this was acceptable, the chicken and the bacon looks awful. You can slap on as much cheese as you think but it doesn’t make it good

Today I needed a treat. So Costa coffee and, fingers crossed, they have carrot cake. Sit in: no cups, accepted paper cup but barely any coffee liquid/more foam; cake with less decoration/filling/smaller slice/bigger price; grubby/sticky tables; wobbily tables. Asked for money back. Lovely young man serving. No issue.

A Costa is never going to be an incredible coffee experience, simply because it’s so mass-produced, but this is one of the better ones I’ve been to. Plenty of space, polite staff, it was clean and tidy and service was fast. The toilets were also very clean, which I was surprised at. The drive-thru is quick and the service is friendly. A good place to visit for a drink and a snack.

Service was first class and sandwich was great. Top marks

Too often have "no bread", "no decaf", "no croissants" .

Apart from the coolness, mostly due to the drafty venting system, all good here. Always helpful, polite and friendly when we use the drive through as well.

Sadly poor service . The last three visits here lacked customer service and now is time to say something . Almost no acknowledgement that you are a customer and no response to a thank you . Don't really listen to what is said after having asked a question and then have to ask again . Can't use the excuse that it was busy and rushed off their feet but can manage to talk to their colleagues. A poor show !

Busy place but staff offer swift and cheerful service. Coffee is lovely (cake too) and the place is well-situated amidst a wide range of shops.

Service has sunk like the titanic recently, long waits and If you're cup feels light when it's handed to you it's because it's half full , Check for yourself , hate moaning and not a complainer , just saying 🤷‍♂️

This drive thru is a bit of a hit or miss. Sometimes they get my coffee perfect other times full to the brim and scalding hot. Also other half like a vanilla latte but after driving away no vanilla but was charged for it. Then sometimes they get the order just right . But the prices for coffee is getting ridiculous ,my americano has went from £2.45 to £3.45 in a matter of months so now its becoming a special treat at this cost.

left the drive thru at 14:00 today, and have to say, sadly the staff that are on duty this afternoon require training, it ain’t my fault you have been dragged out of bed to work today! What happened to the absolutely lovely staff that always greeted you with a smile and a friendly approach??? I got the grumpy one that did not greet us at the window and then, oh, the girl that served me, well not only would she not look at me when I asked if they have some salt please, she said Naw we don’t huv any, then put my change on top of my coffee cup and lowered to the window, yur toasties wulnae be long! Then hands me my toastie without saying anything or looking in my direction. I said, well thankyou, to which she replied, aw right enjoy! Come on Costa you can do so much better.

Absolutely ridiculous the number of times this place closes early! Not even 8pm and shop shut already 🙄 Maybe best change your opening times!

Busy cafe. Hard working staff. Maybe need more staff, because some tables were stacked with empty plates and cups. Staff weren't lazing about. Need more staff to clear up. Enjoyed the drinks and cakes.

Same as all the other ones I guess. There's a drive through here and seats outside and of course all the usual seating etc inside the place. Check in procedure is in place and loads of screens up to shield. Apart from that it was all pretty much business as usual here.

Good drive through experience, really pleasant girl at the window. Good coffee, its a nice new cafe, amd the inside look broght and airy whilst having a modern feel, there is lots of parking, and its uandy for the main road, good stop off spot. Fast, easy... Went back, still first rate! My enjoyed hers too.

Went for a coffee at half 5 they closed the door web site says they shut at 6 at port glasgow

Good service. Coffee nice as always.. always think cakes etc are expensive but to be expected for this chain.

Tap water too hot for children, complaint not taken seriously. Ice Cappuccino like an ice latte. Won’t be back.

Just been at Costa port Glasgow a very rude young women ibsustany in me showing her track and trace very embarrassed will not be back use Costa in Glasgow Edinburgh Inverness and Dundee never feet do bad ....left the place and had our te teas put in paper cups

Aye not bad at all had a wee hot chocolate with scooshy cream and marshmallows. Was lovely.

Costa coffee drive thru Greenock. Five stars. Coffee amazing. Rolls n sausage amazing. Lemon muffin amazing. Great àccess to drive thru. Amazing wheel chair user access. Has toilets. Point system I love too. Had over twenty pounds in my card and it bought me and my friend breakfast. A real treat. Was free!! Thankyou costa

Our food and tea, coffee were excellent. Would have given five stars but was very surprised and disappointed to see shelve and rail next to our table covered in dust, looked like hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Table though was clean.

Terrible once again! I fail to understand the challenge in getting an order correct. This branch consistently get it wrong. Terrible service and attitude from the staff. And now I have a car cleaning bill because they also couldn't put a lid on a cup properly.

Speedy drive thru and pleasant customer service experience

My husband and I met with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson to have a coffee, but one of us was asked to sit at a separate table. Not sure why, as we're 5 people from 2 separate households. Our grandson was asleep in his pram.

Very busy coffee shop, queues for the drive through can easily be 8 cars long, the staff are pretty good, and you normally get a fair consistent brew. We use regularly, and missed when it was deemed a non-essential shop, who makes these crazy rules up....coffee is essential, and I dare say im not alone in this opinion.

Always FREEZING, Corona virus or not!! Always UNNECESSARY air-conditioning on, summer, winter & all the times in between (I fed it back to the staff/manager before, clearly to NO AVAIL!!)!! & now even worse than ever - the above PLUS both doors (at each end opened!!). Need to remember not to go back, unless 30°C outside!! Think the motto of this branch must be: "how to alienate customers..."

A regular customer at Costa Coffee. My choice at the moment is a Flat White with a shot of Caramel flavour syrup for Golden Honeycomb drink. I have ordered this at Costa Coffee shops all over Glasgow. This was REFUSED by the manager here with the excuse that they could not sell a syrup with a Flat White. Complete rubbish given that the menu offers you the choice to add a syrup for 50p. Staff were not helpful when questioned and rather gruff. The good news is I was able to find a Costa Coffee with more customer orientated staff who were prepared to sell me a BOTTLE of the syrup....

Nice coffee.. bit overpriced.. and no need for aircon to be on..
