My wife and I visited the seaview cafe for lunch to see what had changed on re opening. Apart from the decor, the entrance door has been removed and you enter at the side of the building or through the Main shop, taking away the draught from the river when the door was being used. The menu has also changed away from the standard fare to very interesting choices, we are looking forward to going back to try the cheese fondue and other tasty dishes on offer.

Disappointed with the service as never received my side oder, had to ask for drinks, did not get asked if I enjoyed my meal or ever being offered a desert menu. This is local to me but it has put me off going back.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The food was delicious and well presented. Our room was nice and the bed was comfortable. We booked the room but felt a little let down by the bathroom (first world problems). we thought we would have the new updated bathroom but ended up with a dated bathroom in a very nice suite. For the most part, we were very happy.
