The best restaurants in Shettleston Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

This was a disappointment for my 25th birthday last night. 2 of our party ordered a bottle of wine, which, after asking for numerous times and being told, 'it's just coming' we were eventually told it was sitting at the bar (??) This is not a great standard. Wine should be kept on the table. Anyone could have taken that for themselves or thrown it away if they assumed it was left over. Foccacia bread, granted was ordered late as we forgot, but never appeared despite again asking and being told the same answer as the wine. We ended up just saying to take this off as it hadn't arrived after the main had finished. The food was good quality. However, the portions inconsistent.. when you compare it with competitors who offer a lot bigger portions at the same price point it's not great. When we asked for the bill, we realised that my dad, who was driving, was given an alcoholic beer when he said for a non-alcoholic version. The staff did kindly take this off our bill for us and gave us some cake as an apology, which was again nice of them, but perhaps something for the restaurant to be careful of in future. The staff themselves were friendly it's just the experience overall wasn't what I had hoped given the way people hype this place up. I hope the restaurant is able to take this feedback on board to improve the experience for others.

Hi got a chicken curry there was plenty of chicken that was the only best bit I can say about it the fried rice was lumpy and sticky and over cook the curry sauce was the same over cook

Excellent food, such a lovely server, however a bottle of Isla Negra white wine is never 28.00!! Outrageous.

Went in for a quick bite and ended up waiting 20 minutes even though the place was empty — no queue, no excuse. The pizza crunch was barely edible, just thick, raw dough in the middle. The curry sauce just wasnt nice either. No flavour, just bland and weird, not like any curry sauce ive ever had out a chippy. Waste of time and money.

Went as part of the premierinn meal deal (Evening meal and Breakfast). Went to reception at the inn, and got seated straight away by a very attentive waitress. Ordered Prawn cocktail and Fish and chips. The bread on the prawn cock tail was stale and hard, and the prawns were hard and did not taste great. The fish and chips were swimming in fat and not very appetising. The breakfast the next day was better with a good selection of cereals fruits and yoghurts. I ordered a couple of poached eggs on toast to be told, I had to go an do my own toast. The eggs arrived in a desert bowl, with lots of water. Service was very good but food very average at best.

Best chippy in the east end! Been let down once, with a soggy fish supper, mind you the dog loved it. Haggis supper or black pudding supper are thr buzz.

Best Chinese takeaway I’ve found. Consistently good. Friendly and efficient service. Onion rings and salt n chilli king prawn are particular favourites. Satay sauce also nice. Recommended.

Not doing food but in pipe line looking forward to it

When we arrived there was no one in the restaurant. A few minutes after we arrived someone the waitress knew arrived and got priority. I did not mind them being served before us but I did object to waiting 15 minutes for my change while the waitress had a conversation with the people she knew. I told her that was not acceptable and she said sorry I got involved in a conversation, when I said that is fine but you could have given me my change first, her response was I am on my own, my response was you had ;2 couples and you favoured the other one. I have eaten there on many occasions and never experienced such poor service so maybe there is a training issue here.

Este es un lugar al que acudí todo el tiempo con amigos y familiares, siempre fue un cliente habitual aquí con mi pequeño papá, que conocía muy bien al personal. Excelente comida excelente lugar gran personal?
