My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the first class lunch served to us at the Wednesday Lunch Club in The Gift Tree Corstorphine. Started with a delicious Amuse Bouche. Followed with cheese and broccoli quiche. Served with baked potato and coleslaw. Pudding was a scrumptious berry crumble with custard. Together with a hot drink. Excellent value!

Those two ladies that served us were so happy and kind to us and loved to talk! The sandwich we ordered was made with fresh ingredients and grilled, very tasty!

Visited for my mums 88th birthday and the staff were so accommodating as my mum is in a wheelchair and has dementia. The food was tasty and again the staff made a special effort for my mums disabilities. The overall atmosphere was lovely and very reasonably priced for all we had. Thank you so much.

Just had a fabulous Sunday Roast, food was excellent. We were served mainly by Lucy who was so friendly and attentive despite it being Rugby day. Thank you all - it was wonderful 😊

As always great wine recommendations and services from Rory & Tony, we didn't have anything to eat on this visit but charcuterie is always fantastic.

The Dower House es un maravilloso edificio lleno de historia local con un fantástico museo dirigido por voluntarios y sala de archivo. El café sirve una variada selección de bebidas, como té, café y refrescos. Los bocadillos y pasteles son absolutamente increíbles. El personal es amable y acogedor. Lovely lovely place, hotel looks gorgeous and Ive bookmarked for next time. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is top notch, nothing is pre made, it all is made to order so have time to savor and enjoy the experience. Butternut squash risotto was the best I have ever had. Cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of cheese and nuts added. I was in a rush to leave for another commitment but really wanted to try the cranachan and the chef kindly made it in a container for me to take. So kind! Would love to return for the tea, that sounds marvelous.

Food is decent. Ambience is awesome. Staff is friendly. But I found it to be expensive.
