So many Great options for Lamb and chicken based meals.

We arrived in Edinburgh and were looking for a restaurant close by. We noticed on the door that the restaurant had won an award. The young man who served us was very friendly and helpful throughout. We had lamb kofte and meatballs, both served with saffron rice and salad. The kitchen is open plan and it was very clean. The food quality was excellent, freshly- prepared and delicious. Highly recommend this Lebanese restaurant.

We ordered through Uber eats. Food arrived in a timely manner very well packed. Food was fantastic! I've eaten a lot of Mediterranean food throughout the world. Sofia's lounge is on my top 5. Great food.

We stumbled into this place by accident. And this is GOOD. What an experience. Everything is prepared in front of your eyes, and the team is lovely.

Really nice food and service for the most part, the guy at the back seemed to have an issue with me for some reason though. He seemed off with me when I came in then was weirdly dismissive with me later when we made eye contact. He’s young so I don’t know if that effected some reason

Had Sofias on multiple occasions and haven’t been disappointed. Lovely quality food. The variety in the mixed platter is great, lots of different flavours with a good amount of food. Would highly recommend.

This is just incredible, waiter/maître is super efficient and polite, cooks are hard working, and the food is good in quality and quantity.

The restaurant is Lebanese, the staff are respectful and smiling, the food is very good and the dish I give it (8 out of 10). It is preferable to grill on sticks that are removed rather than wooden sticks such as stainless steel so that it is more level on the inside. It is worth visiting and trying.

We often go to Corstorphine for a wee drink and a bite and have passed by this place lots of times but never ventured in.We had friends visiting from Aberdeen and thought we'd give it a go....Here's why I only gave it 3stars.While the restaurant was lovely and the service was great,the food wasn't memorable,it laked the WOW factor.Dont get me wrong,it was nice but nothing memorable.It is still a nice place,and if you've never had Lebanese before,and are in area give it a look in.

Sorry but fountainbridge just has the upper hand with the food. But it was clean and fresh

☆ please read☆ we were very excited to order from this place but it was so bad and so expensive and over priced. I won't ever order for them again, firstly they had run out of one of the desserts and we had no options but to change it. I then got a message it was going to be late but didn’t state how late , i called again and the man said 5-10 minutes, after 20 minutes I called again and was told he would call driver and then I never heard from him.

a wee slip up this time with my order, i wanted sweet potato fries. but i got the chilli cheese ones instead, apart from the fact they were a wee bit cold, the cheese used is not good, its fairly bland, chilli needs quite a strong flavour of cheese.

Nice place to have a meal with friends and family. Service is good and friendly, particularly Hadi, nice guy with good attitude. Recommended for visit!

I didn't appreciate paying the full restaurant price but receiving a reduced dish. I ordered the meshwi and received the meat and rice, some onion, but not any side salad or pickles. As it's a restaurant and restaurant prices I was hoping for more.

Really lovely, we wanted something different to the usual takeaway choices. The chicken and rice was delicious. Our friends also really enjoyed their meals (meatballs and a lamb burger.) would definitely recommend and order again

Excellent lamb burger, perfect chips, delicious fatoush. This has become my favourite place. Very expensive tho.

The food from Sophia’s was absolutely delicious. It took a wee while to deliver but then we are quite far from the restaurant and it was less than an hour. Despite that the time it was still hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

The food was fantastic. It tasted amazing, and looked so good when it arrived. Had never tried that type of burger before, but will definitely be trying it again. Will definitely order from there again.

Although the mezze for two was really lovely, it was definitely not enough for two!! And it was expensive for what little you get. Delicious though and a welcome change from the usual takeaways around here.

Cannot recommend enough. We had the family platter with halloumi fries and regular fries. The food was prepared lovingly and in good time and the portions as well as taste were very well received by our whole group.

We had lunch here as soon as we arrived in Edinburgh, before checking into the hotel. I had already read some reviews looking for places in the area, so I was sure to go. I confirm everything: we ate very well. Actually the best food we tasted in Edinburgh! It's a very welcoming little place and the managers are very nice.

We have ordered from Sofia's a couple of times via Just Eat and we loveeeeeee it!!! It's always great quality food, great flavours and super fast delivery. I'm a veggie but my partner eats meat and there's lots of variety for both of us. The milkshakes are also 10/10. Highly recommend Sofias.

So once again the food was cold on arrival. Also, please dont deliver nachos with cheese in tin foil. The cheese sticks to the foil and I wasted loads. I think if it is cold next time we order I will reconsider ordering again.

I am a regular and love the food, but this time the portion size was ridiculously small for the price charged. I had the 9 chicken tenders at £12.95 (which comes without any chips/sides) and they were really small, way smaller than usual. I haven't minded paying over odds for Sophia compared to other restaurants, but if they are going to cut portion sizes, it's not value for money. So disappointed 😞

Overall, really good! The food was great, the service was fat and pleasant, no complaints. Not the cheapest place though. This last thing might just be my opinion as a non-resident.

Lovely little spot on the St John's Road, Corstorphine Edinburgh. Excellent food, exciting flavours. Ordered the houmous, falafel burger, saffron rice with salad. The blueberry smoothie - AMAZING! This is a lovely place. The staff here 10/10 Amir was great.

We had dinner for four here after a long drive. Everyone’s chicken sandwiches and lamb. Entrées were amazing as well as the hummus and the moudamas appetizers. I had the lamb meatballs which came with a nice saffron rice and a delicious tomato broth and a small salad. My mom had the lamb shank which came with the same sides and both were very nice. The service was impeccable with a very attentive service staff. We also enjoyed a smoothie and a cocktail which were delicious as well. I highly recommend stopping in for a meal and checking it out for yourself.

Great food. Large portions, come with an appetite.

Usually very high quality but this time was very disappointed. Hopefully just an off day. One dish had a metal staple in it, luckily spotted before eaten. Chicken much smaller than usual and sauce was watery compared to usual. Rice congealed and solid/stuck together in both saffron rice and lamb fatteh dish, basically like solid microwave bag rice if you don’t squish the bag. Our favourite takeaway usually :(

A small venue with a large menu and many drinks options including a range of cocktails and mocktails. The food was phenominal and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the meze for two- we had this to start.

The staff is just AMAZING. You can really feel their hospitality. Always polite and smiling The food is astonishing. Their shared plate with chicken was the best, the freshest chicken i v had in several years. The same goes for their homemade hummus. Exceptional. It is a must - visit

I apologise for the bad photos but I was hungry. The food was absolutely delicious, the roast chicken was so good and the hummous was excellent!

I have been to Sofia’s lounge at Corstorphine several times now and each time everything has been 10/10! The staff are really attentive and food always tastes great. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu but my favourite is the BBQ Chicken & Sujuk Kafta (Spiced chargrilled lamb on skewers) everyone I’ve bought here has also returned. Fantastic place!

If you cannot go to Lebanon let Lebanon come to you. I cannot praise their food enough and their staff. I have never been disappointed in any way whatsoever for every time I have ordered their food.

I ordered a take away for collection. The food was delicious to be fair, but I can't get my head around the fact that this amount of food cost just shy of £50! Looking at other reviews, I can't help but think we were somehow overcharged. Totally overpriced for a burger, lamb kofta, houmous and tabbouleh. If I was sitting in and had table service, it might have seemed more palatable, but I'm afraid I won't be ordering from here again.

After being very disappointed with the big hotel down the road where we were staying, we went to Sofia’s! We were delighted with the choice and exquisite tastes. Delicious food!
