Just a very good and consistent quality of Indian food served…. Try a few dishes but I reckon one of the best Pathia dishes I’ve ever eaten.

Beautiful inside. Gorgeous log burning fire. Friendly, attentive staff. Last but not least, delicious food and at a reasonable price. 100 percent recommend and will return.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing!! Everyone was so kind to us, and the cozy atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. After we ordered the food came very quickly and was fantastic for us and our kids.

Me and my partner were visiting the area from North Yorkshire for the week, we struggled to find some good local pubs which had a menu that popped out and that welcomed our furry friend! After discovering the Pitcairngreen inn, we were pleasantly surprised, upon first glance the pub looks a touch deserted from the exterior; but we put this down to the gloomy day and damp weather. After walking through the door we were greeted by a lovely young man who was more than happy to assist us and get us seated at a table and give us some time to review the food and drink choices. The food, what can I say other than superb! We were both flabbergasted as the quality of the food, we ordered the Nachos to share as a starter; accompanied with cheese and fried chicken, and what a treat, all homemade by the looks of things, the portion size was large but it was devoured nevertheless! To follow for main, we enjoyed a steak and ale pie and a Sirloin steak, cooked medium to rare. And I can comfortably say, it was cooked to perfection and accompanied by the best homemade Parmesan chips for the steak and homemade fries for the pie. To finish we devoured the homemade fudge sundae, topped with homemade ice cream and hand whipped cream! Perfect presentation! I finished off with a dark chocolate cheesecake accompanied again by their very own homemade vanilla ice cream! To top it all off, a very pleasant experience and service received from the staff on a whole. Special compliments to the young gentleman behind the bar whom served us this evening and the chef(s) who prepared such mouthwatering courses. Tim, Becki & Betty!

A lovely clean cafe with friendly, attentive staff and prompt service . Varied selections on the menu to suit all tastes, along with a large selection of cakes and tray bakes. The only slight fault was that the milkshakes were rather watery, not full-bodied. Otherwise, it's faultless.

A wonderful weekend spent in tranquility, only two miles from Perth. Rooms are large, comfortable, and allowed us to have peaceful, undisturbed sleep. Food is top notch, the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome, and the landscaped gardens are a delight to meander through. Throw in two resident red squirrels and a river walk, and you have a recipe for a delightful stay in historic Scotland.

Bought a chicken fried rice with curry sauce. It was the worst meal I have ever had. One mouthful was enough, and it was thrown in the bin. £12.00 it cost. Will not be back.

We had an enjoyable lunch at the Bein Inn. My partner said his burger was good, his purple coleslaw looked appealing and I have to say his chips (something neither of us is fond of) were probably the best we've had. I ordered a chicken fajita, which was the most unusual I've ever had: *everything*, including the rice (either pilau or basmati, not long grain as I'd expect), wrapped up in one big dod with three sauces on the side. It tasted fine and was filling, but looked tragi-comical. The young waitress warned us they had no avocados, but on questioning thought they may have guacamole; however it was substituted with some kind of chutney, which was ok if unconventional. On the plus side, it all seemed to have actually been cooked rather than banged into a microwave, which we appreciated. The service was good and friendly, and our food arrived in a timely manner, noting that we arrived at the beginning of Friday lunchtime when it was quiet. We're not in a hurry to go back, as the menu was limited and a bit overpriced, at least for my weird offering at £17. There seemed to be some renovation work going on in the entrance area, all good, but didn't add to the ambience. We'd originally looked into this for a Sunday lunch, which seems popular with others, would possibly try it for that in future.
