The best restaurants in Kirkcaldy Central Fife Central Scotland

Recommended by friend, we came here for the girls talk 🗣️ from Edinburgh city . The restaurant is clean and the staff served us very well . Staff very nice and always welcome us. Here has variety of Dim Sums you can choose. The food is 90s’ Hong Kong restaurant food taste which you are really difficult to find it in Hong Kong now. Nicely decorated restaurant, serves food until 10pm. The staff is nice, but the service is quite slow. The fish and chips was very bad, the frozen fish was hard to chew. A bit expensive when compared to other places. The Mexican food, on the contrary, was tasty and well cooked.

I was looking for a place to take my elderly mother, I thought it would be a nice treat for her to have lunch away from the care home she lives in. I did half an hour of research online, looking for a cafe that was not too far away from her care home, that had local parking. I checked online and that this place had good reviews it said it was open now from 09:00 until 17:00 on TripAdvisor. I made an appointment with the care home and told them what I planned to do for lunch with mum. I want to collect her, we had a 15 to 20 min drive to the cafe and found the car park right opposite which was ideal. I park up then took mum across the road to the cafe to find them closed, with no sign on the door or notes anywhere explaining why??? I can NOT recommend anyone waste their time going to this cafe if they can't even be bothered to keep their online details up to date. We did find a great cafe next door Mcgregor's Coffee Shop it is called. Great food, wonderful friendly staff who kept the place clean.

Private function. would've been a better atmosphere, if a permanent bar staff person was available to serve at the private function

We visited on Saturday as a birthday treat as we had seen fantastic reviews online. We ordered waffle Sundays and milkshakes. It took nearly 15 minutes for member of staff to take our order, and mick walked away before I had finished. 2 of our 3 milkshakes arrived, and they were tasty but no where near as impressive as the pictures online - they had no cream or toppings. Waffles were made and brought over by Jordon, who is fantastic! Spoke with us and apologised for the missing drink which he then went to make. Mick brought this over, dumped it on the table and walked off to chat to a friend within seconds. Jordon and your food are great - other members of staff not so much. I think it should be clearer that the fancily decorated milkshakes pictured online are not what come as standard.

Excellent service - beyond perfect Decent food - had the tofu pad Thai .. good enough but… Place is beautiful and clean

Fish smelled out of date and wasn't cooked properly was really oily and mushy, Burger meat was terrible and cheap feeling and tasting. We all left with a rotten taste in our mouths🤢

food was delicious and still piping hot by the time I got it home. friendly staff met me at the door. top tier takeaway 👌

I love going on a Sunday when music on always nice staff

Our 1st time in here for an evening meal. We were very neat on the time for last order tables but the staff accommodated us and explained we were on the limit for booking a table. Great food, service and different surroundings.

Staff while friendly start off with a "sit in or takeaway" question rather than a hello or anything else which is a bit odd. The glasses that Costa use for coffees are actually very uncomfortable to hold and this is a nationwide Costa issue. They're also incredibly heavy. A few lights were broken / failing and therefore the store was pretty dim inside. Also not sure of the policy but allowing dogs inside is strange. Not talking service dogs here, just Joe blogs dogs. As they walked out the dog put it's head on two other customers tables probably trying to have a quick look what's there but clearly the customers didn't appreciate or like it. This policy needs changing as not everyone is a dog person or wants their cafe experience to be interrupted by dogs.

Whole experience was brilliant the gentleman on the phone was polite and the order was delivered very quickly food was delicious and the delivery driver was lovely very fair price too
