We randomly selected this restaurant as we were in Slough for a couple of days and looking for somewhere - we are delighted we did.
As a family (kids 10 and 4) it can be difficult on a wet Wednesday night after driving 7hrs+ to get something everyone is happy with, but the staff were brilliant and organized our meal so there was something for everyone. They were also great with the kids and even though the restaurant wasn't busy I still felt they were attentive and ready to help for whatever we needed.
The food was fabulous too. We each had a different meal and were struggling to decide which was best, my advice is to speak to the staff and let them know what you do and dont like and they can prepare it the way you want it. Nothing was too much trouble.
All in all a lovely place and if we are ever in the area we will definitely be back!
Not what you expect from the outside, as like someone’s front room.
Pleasantly surprised, on entering, and the menu being offered.
All reasonably priced, well presented, and value for money. Pancakes a must.
Great little antique shop too
Petit restaurant thaïlandais sympathique de quartier. On peut y déguster toute sorte de plat asiatique. Le service pourrait être un peu plus chaleureux.
Enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea, beautiful sandwiches, scones and delicious selection of cakes. Thank you to the chef and to the restaurant staff who were very helpful and attentive, especially Joanna who looked after us so well.
Me encanta este café, cómelo todos los días, todo recién hecho, sin recalentamiento, el personal es muy amable y además es realmente bueno por sus precios 5 * en general para mí xxx
Was looking for somewhere to eat when we came across a sign advertising food. It was this social club and it was welcoming. non members. We found the blue door and in we went. We found seats ans were given menus and ordered drinks. We had to give our details as per Covid 19 regulations. We ordered drinks, you pay for these separate to food. Surprised at the prices very reasonable and no rip off here. The food menu is limited but for there is enough on the menu to have a choice and again very reasonably priced. The portions were excellent and well presented, the kids were stuffed after their meal. A nice find while just walking around,
We stayed at the Inveraray Inn and the Vital Perk was a brilliant find! Friendly and fast staff and delicious coffee and muffins. Highly recommend it and looking out onto the loch is stunning! Great pit stop before heading to the castle too as just right by the gates.
The 'Fechan diner in tucked away off the M74 and is primarily a cafe for truck drivers, however they'll accommodate anyone. My wife, lad and I frequently stop here en-route from Scotland- England for some scran and a drink. Always clean with pleasant staff and a damn site cheaper than MSAs.
Myself and my aunt had lunch here, we each had a cheese & ham toastie, which came with crisps and salad, plus tea and soda. The value for money was exceptional, and the girls in the cafe were lovely server's. The nice type that shouted goodbye as we left. There is a good sense of community in the cafe, and I would recommend it if you fancy a cheap and tasty meal! We will definitely be back.
I was in cafe twice yesterday. Lovely filled rolls nice and fresh and pot of tea
Went back later in day and had a lovely tasty bran scone and tea. Nice friendly young staff and clean and tidy cafe
Would recommend highly as tried other cafes in area and this one is better
