Beautiful setting in the heart of wonderful Edinburgh. The welcome and attention from staff was exceptional and made our evening. Helena in particular was first class. We sampled mousaka, spanakopita and aubergine iman and all were exceptional. A truly wonderful Greek cuisine experience. Thank you to all concerned. We shall be back.
The lattes and Cinnamon buns were great. Sparkling clean area with a viewing window to see the coffee being roasted. Playing Hendrix in the background was an absolute bonus.
Staff were amazing and helpful

Whilst in Jedburgh we thought we would stop in. Unfortunately, the cafe is now close but they do still have a takeaway shop around the back (well signposted). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They described each item well and gave us recommendations. There wasn’t an abundance of selection but that is a positive because it suggests they focus on quality over quantity. I went for the charcoal salmon and cream cheese bagel. It doesn’t sound appealing but it was nice. The bagel was chewy and the filling was decent. I also got an almond croissant which was large and had a good pastry to filling ratio. I did find that some bites of the pastry was drier than others but it was still a very good croissant. My wife got a apple crumble cruffin which was sweet and again had plenty of filling. She wasn’t blown away by it but it was quite nice. My mother in-law also got the almond croissant which she also enjoyed. Overall for all that it was £18.50 which for a bakery is very expensive in my opinion. I do like the shop as its cute and has a variety of loafs and I get the impression they change the items frequently.
I love this cafe, David and Siobhan are great hosts and you feel immediately welcome and at home. The banter is great - those Easter Bunny Ears 🐣 😆 it is probably the best lunch spot in Argyll, the soups are always exceptional, tasty and beautifully presented, sandwiches are so delicious and the cakes and coffee are worth every minute of the travel round. Always worth booking a table but there’s plenty of outside space too. A gem!
Very friendly owner, great service and delicious (fresh) home baking. It’s the kind of place you can go by yourself but wouldn’t feel alone…….thanks for all the effort you put in to running a clean welcoming place to visit. Kenny and I thoroughly enjoyed our (carry out) sandwich and cakes yesterday …….thanks again!
This is undoubtedly the home of the best bacon rolls and fruit scones in Edinburgh. We moved office and still have our weekly roll run here as tried others near our new office and nothing compares. Lovely staff and food always fresh and of a good quality. Good variety at lunchtime too. Support local and try it out.
Had theeee most amazing afternoon teas from Sherryscreations. At what I thought would be too short a notice to order & collect was not a problem.
My friend & I were blown away with the whole thing, from presentation, to yummy in your tummy. Beautiful presentation, everything on the plate was delicious & fresh. The quiche was one of the best I've tasted & don't get me started on the cakes, absolutely delicious, each & every one. To think all the times I've been to afternoon tea at a high end Markinch hotel at their very high prices, I could have been enjoying these fantastic plates of yummyness & bottle of prosecco in my own back garden with friends for a fraction of the price.
Can not recommend highly enough, Sherryscreations...I will most definitely be back 🥲🥲🥲😍
Visité Emesa y me sorprendió la calidad de su comida, realmente disfruté de que todo es fresco, el Homus fue increíble. Personal amable, comida deliciosa.
Lo visitaré pronto seguro.
Another excellent meal at Ravenscourt House. Delicious homemade soup and couldn’t resist having the Carbonara again. The Bruschetta, Seafood Tagliatelle and Duck Ragu also looked very good and all were generous portions. The service was very welcoming and friendly so it was a great evening.
Nice little cafe with pleasant simple surroundings, good well prepared food and a friendly feel to the place.
Stopped with friends on a day trip and had soup, toasties, cakes and teas and coffees and all were delicious.
Prices in line with other places but will definitely return here.
My friends took me to the 🌞T Lounge today for lunch and what an amazing place it is.
All food and drinks are expertly and passionately prepared by the owner .
We shared the pork and spring onion Bengs to start followed by the Tempura chicken🐔 breast strips and jasmine rice with spicy chips 🍟on the side all of which were cooked to order and were so flavoursome.
The portions were more than ample and left us all full we had to resist the temptation of the lovely plum tart
The owner is such a lovely, warm friendly person which is reflected in the decor and atmosphere.
Well worth a visit as it will not dissapoitment
Everything was perfect, the food, the service, the internet. Very reasonable prices. Would recommend the bacon Brie cranberry panini. Very glad I found this cafe open in January.
