I firmly believe that the prices charged at Picnic are too high for what you get by the way of the food and coffee. The food is okay for a deli come cafe but on occasions can lack consistency. You try something and enjoy and the next time it is not quite the same which results in dissapointment. Maybe it is just down to a different member of staff putting together the dish.

I've been fishing here twice, great spot to wind down and enjoy a relaxing day out. Good size carp and tench to catch with a car park and toilet facility

Food full of grease. Takeaway bag was saturated. Little to no chicken all batter that was grease filled. Sauce was like vinegar and price was 20% more than others in the area. Total rubbish. How this place has 4+ stars is a mystery. Worth a miss.

Very delicious and authentic Thai food. Felt like the portion sizes were good as well. The only criticism I have is that the food could be spicier, but will definitely be back.
Friendly service.
Lots of choice.
Iced fingers are great.
Sausage rolls are massive and tasty.
Mini cinnamon loaves are amazing.
My go to bakery in Ards.
Excellent chips to take out! Possibly the best takeout chips we have ever had accompanied with excellent customer service. The lady was very generous in her portion size and welcoming to us as first time visitors to Northern Ireland. We were very impressed with the opportunity to gift a meal which we did! A must chip shop to sample.
We had dinner at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Premier Inn hotel. The waiters were very friendly and the food was great. The kids menu was a good offer, because with 8€ a kid has 2 dishes (starter+main or main+dessert), a drink and 2 sides to choose.
For adults, there is the possibility of a Meal Deal, which has a good price including 2 dishes and a drink. If we ever stay at this hotel again, we will return to this restaurant.
You can’t judge a book by its cover, but you can judge a chef by his or her homemade soup. And the accompanying bread. This was fine dining in the literal sense. All the best team Guillemot.
