Paitre grazing is an absolutely amazing experience. I am not a fan of buffets with curled dry sandwhices, sausage rolls and undercooked chicken legs but Paitre buffet was a culinary delight. It was an explosion of colour artfully displayed. I would definitely recommend this company for any event. The food is so healthy and tasty. They even do grazing at home boxes. Which I will be definitely trying.

Tried for 1st time to night as only recently moved to area. Absolutely beautiful chinese best ive had for ages and spotlessly clean. Shame it's only open 2 days( wed & thurs)will definitely go back

Was staying with family for few days and they recommended having Sunday lunch here. Very popular so had to park in street. Told that pub was full but could have roast in a box in garden room. Wasn't expecting much but when got to garden room it was amazing. Nice outdoor undercover bar and then huge marquee with sofas, tables, patio heaters, nice atmosphere and very busy. A really nice venue and a nice vibe. Friendly staff and food - roast in a box arrived quickly. Good portion size and food was good. We ordered beef - well cooked and very tasty but no Yorkshire pudding. Guests who ordered the chicken got Yorkshire pudding with theirs. When we mentioned this to lady who cleared plates she was very apologetic and said you should have had Yorkshire pudding with the beef, will tell the chef, he must have forgotten to put one on, so sorry. Came back and offered us option of bringing some Yorkshire pudding and gravy or offered us both a complimentary dessert instead. Now that is good customer service We accepted the desserts and they were very nice - toffee and honeycomb cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. Both very nice. A great lunch, good food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Would go back and would recommend. A great find. Thank you

Been ordering regularly from here for about a year but today I bought what was assumed a "fresh" cream scone to find the scone itself stale, the fresh cream was hard and the fruit had gone mouldy.... not sure how long they had been sat there but it's definitely put me off. Called to let them know so they could check the others and the only response I got was thanks for letting me know.... no apology or offer of a refund.

Went to the star inn today for Sunday lunch the food was amazing and well presented and the staff were lovely and polite

Stopped in looking for a Tetley, but those days are gone. John Smith it was, tasted good and plenty of TVs around so you can watch whatever sport is on them. Toilet was clean and had warm water.

Visited for my birthday. Excellent food and service. Top class Will be visiting again . Catered for the veggies in our party.

Shanghai takeaway is the very best takeaway in Wakefield... Amy and the other ladies are fantastic both delivery drivers are amazing with my daughter we always order every other Saturday when mum n dad come for tea. They always know who we are when we ring and always happy to hear from us when we ring. Rather than saying what's your address they say "go on what we having tonight" 💞 fantastic makes you feel really appreciated. Shanghai 10/10. Pengyou's for life

wow, such fresh delicious pizza! not like a normal greasy takeout. Real Italian restaurant style.

The woodman has a lovely landlord/lady. Which is lovely an̈d the people are great. Bad side is, dogs can and do sit on seats and have seen dogs eating of plates on the tables. The toilets are still in the 70s and stink of piss. This isn't a one off either, they are terrible. Good points are it has a large beer garden and host very good bands in the summer.
