What a brilliant pub . Would highly recommend 👌

Yes, I've given the pub 1 star, it should have been more, but they should have a sign up, informing drivers that the car park is "Private Land", belonging to the adjacent Community Hall. Small signage says to register with the hall before parking. Nobody said anything in the pub, but got a parking fine from UK CPM, saying I'd parked illegally. Won't be back...

I had my 50th birthday party at this venue and would highly recommend anybody wanting to hold a function to do it here. Denise and Martin (landlord & landlady)were absolutley amazing and went above and beyond anything I could've ever wished for. Denise made a huge balloon arch for me in my party theme colours,which all my guests commented on. This was done in her own time, which is just wonderful. On my early arrival to decorate the pub and set up the food I'd brought, Denise insisted I sat down with a drink whilst she did EVERYTHING - and she did!! The venue was completley free, Martin, the DJ - also free. My guests danced the night away in a fantastic pub, with fab hosts, wide variety of drinks in a great, friendly and welcoming pub. It's definitely safe to say I had the most amazing 50th birthday and reiterate the fact I highly recommend everybody opts to do the same. You won't be dissapointed..

A lovely local pub, decent beer especially when cask beer available, and ciders. Friendly, good atmosphere, and always fairly busy, but not too much! Friendly quiz nights Friday I think. Always my choice for a beer when nearby

Very popular village pub. Owned by craft union so the prices are very competitive. Sky sports on multiple screens, darts and pool for those who play. Friendly people throughout with wonderful bar staff. Outdoor decking and seating area creates a wonderful sun trap on those hot summer days . A fine choice of beers and lagers along with almost anything you can think of such as gin's, vodkas and whiskey etc. This pub can get very busy on a weekend.

Nice people lively but no craft beers. If its part of a craft union then a good selection of crafts beers would be great.

Early afternoon visit, not too busy.

It was ok. Good beer, lager but like a lot of pubs today it was tarnished by foul mouthed customers who consider the 'F' word to be big and clever. What is probably worse is the bar staff seem to consider it normal or choose to ignore it.

Great beer, lovely friendly staff and landlords. Atmosphere is great with mixture of ages. Bingo, quiz and great music on some nights. Fantastic to sit outside and watch the sunset. A must to visit and i will be back as can not fault this pub

Based upon the fact I'm a massive sports fan, then this pub is the place to be. Numerous TV's abound throughout meaning you can watch from any angle and vicinity. A warm welcome awaits from the landlady and her pet labrador Shirley and there is a good selection of beers and wines although on the day I visited they were out of Savignon Blanc. Very comfortable on the wallet. Recommended.

The land lord thinks its acceptable to "kick off" with customers. After what was a good night up to the point where too much became relevant for , in this instance, the landlord. Who decided to try and pick an argument with me over playing and messing around with his DJ equipment, when actually the person who did admitted it straight away. He felt it appropriate to continue having a go at me telling me he was going to bar me. Well no need I will not be returning and would advise against it unless you want an over egoistic land lord picking fault with you over nothing you had done because your, in the words of someone else: "because your not a regular"

Fantastic pub, very friendly staff and management. Clean and covid secure. Good range of drinks with good prices. Will deffo be back. Thanks to Denise for taking the time to make us feel welcome.

Always a friendly welcome even in these strange covid days. They've taken on board all the recommendations to keep staff & customers safe. It's a dog friendly pub too which is a bonus.

Worst pub ever! I was out with a few mates at the pub for a special evening as we hadn’t seen each other in 5 years. I was sat outside with my mate until the CRAZY landlady came out and started screaming at us about our mate who had thrown up in the toilet and asked us to finish our drinks and leave. Of course me and my friends got up immediately and offered to clean it up. As we were going to get the cleaning supplies the landlady continued to scream at us, even though we had already apologised many times.. I think if you own a pub this is expected every now and then and I bet she’s been in a similar situation as the girl that wasn’t well that night, there was no need for such an overreaction. It’s safe to say that I’ll never be going to this pub ever again.

Service slow. I love pubs that let dogs in, but encouraging them onto the seats isn’t cricket. Bums on seats not dogs!

Great local bar with lovely staff, recent refurb, great Karaoke on Fri n Sun nights. Prices hard to be beaten!
