A Fantastic Dining Experience! We visited Valentinos last night and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a great atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. I started with the prawn cocktail, which was absolutely delicious. For the main course, I had the lasagne, and it was nothing short of amazing. The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The staff made sure everything was to our liking and added to the overall great experience. I would definitely recommend!

My wife and I eat out quite often, and as a result, our expectations are very high. Valentino's is by far one of the finest restaurants we have had the pleasure to visit. Thank you for the fabulous service and fantastic food.

A stunning meat feast pizza, you can tell they only use the highest quality ingredients. I will definitely be ordering again. The delivery was very fast and the guy was polite.

A little pricey compared to other places but sooo worth it! The spaghetti bolognese is amazing! My partner loved the lasagne and the chocolate fudge cake might just be the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be ordering more often!

Told us it was on the way then rung to say they’d not even set off. Rather be told the proper time than kept waiting.

Although late a lovely lady phoned to explain the reason why which was a nice touch, and delivery lady was polite and apologised, food was exceptional restaurant quailty delivered to your door was piping hot too, definitely ordering again.

Amazing food but had to wait over 2 hours between ordering and receiving but food was hot and very good quality just shame about the long wait.

Top place in the whole Wakefield area! Never fail to provide top quality meals (big portions and flavourful) as well as friendly delivery services. You really can taste the quality of the fresh ingredients! Best tiramisu in Wakefield! Always happy to order a Valentino’s and will definitely be eating again!

Barbecue ribs didn't taste very much of BBQ, but spicy pizza was lovely.

Was pleasantly surprised that after being told they couldn't do a half-and-half pizza they did it for me anyway!? lol

This was a lovely experience. We got that really late but they still served us. The food was lovely. It was very quiet but as we was the only two people in the whole restaurant, it was very nice inside the restaurant and the staff was very nice too. There is parking 2. So you don't have look for parking or find somewhere to park which I really like. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again thank guys

Visited here for the first time last night and I will not be back, the food was terrible, the calamari was so stringy I could have flossed with it, chicken was hard and dry and the veg I’m pretty sure was frozen veg, certainly not an authentic Italian I don’t think an Italian has cooked a meal in there ever! In my opinion there’s way better places for quality food in the area to spend your hard earned money on than this place Our waitress was lovely though

Pizzas were gorgeous thank you. The Black Forest Gateaux was divine.

Wow wow wow this place is amazing. On arrival the staff open the doors welcome you with the friendliest smile, show you to your table and allow the perfect amount of time to choose your meal. The food is just out of this world this for sure is the best Italian I have been to in West Yorkshire! (And I have been to lots including big chain ones too) The atmosphere here is brilliant, very clean and authentic even down to the lighting. Staff so the staff are a pure delight so attentive and clearly very happy with the vibes they give.

Been coming here for years and have had fabulous food and wine with family and friends.....what's happened? Stringy calamari, pizza base soggy at the bottom not cooked, seabass was ok but veg lukewarm, rose wine awful and own beer disappointing. Skipped dessert. What a shame! 🙄

I’ve ordered from here a few times and each time the food is of the same high standard as eating in the restaurant.

The dishes were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and seasoned with just the right balance of flavors. The portions were generous, and everything was packaged neatly to avoid any spills or mess.

Food and service weren't amazing but it was Christmas eve, maybe everyone just wanted to go home 😂 It took a while to get us seated and we didn't get served at the bar while we were waiting for our table because they only had one member of staff behind the bar and he had a backlog of drinks to make, so we just stood around for almost 10 minutes. When we finally were about to be served, the waiter asked us to follow him to our table so we still didn't get a drink. The food was nice but nothing to shout about. We all said we wouldn't rush back again, but it might suit other people more than it did us.

First time ordering food from this establishment food was late in delivery hence the low score and the quality of the meal sadly didn't make up for it .

£12 BURGER ? .... STAY AWAY! Right guys £24 for what you see in the pictures. To build half of what they give you at McDonald's would cost you £14+ and if the meat was good you wouldn't mind but when I tell you this is the worst meet I've had is a understatement! The £6 mushrooms .. well you would be better taking some from the garden and putting them in milk warm water !

Nice food but I'd like it is Valentino's could add a "half and half" pizza option to their Just Eat menu? Often we'd like a half and half pizza.

The food was mediocre at best, and very expensive for what it was. I had seafood pasta which really didn't taste of anything seafood related. We were really disappointed as we used to really enjoy it here

First visit to Valentino’s and we were warmly welcomed. The staff were friendly and polite and by 7pm the majority of the tables were full. We didn’t feel rushed or harassed by the staff and they just checked to see if we were happy with everything and whether we needed anything. My husband had the cheesy garlic bread which was like a 10” pizza style and was very tasty. I had mozzarella in carroza which was ok. It came in two triangles and was quite well done on the outside and slightly underdone on the inside for my taste as I prefer it slightly more melted. The tomato sauce comes separately which is a nice touch as you can put as much or little on it as you like. For mains my hubby had a spicy pasta dish which he really enjoyed. I had the chicken in a cream sauce which comes with vegetables and a couple of small roasted potatoes which was enough for me. The chicken was a little bit dry and I’d have preferred a bit more of the mushroom sauce but the flavours were great and it was well seasoned so I did enjoy it. We didn’t have room for pudding and we had a beer and vodka and Coke for drinks. The bill came in at £46 for everything which we felt was extremely good value and we would return.

We had a lovely meal and the food is fabulous. The room and acoustics are really noisy, making it really difficult to hear conversations even when the restaurant is only half full. We think it would be so good if the management would look into what they could do to improve this, as it would make the experience so much better for customers. Another restaurant we know did this and the difference was amazing.

Birthday treat so chose somewhere I thought special. Good to begin with but what let it down massively for me was the end. Ordered dessert for one and liqueur coffee for me. My husbands dessert came and he duly ate it but no sign of my coffee. After asking the 2 young staff couldn't be more apologetic and came over several times. What happened was a large booking came in and all the service went on them and we were forgotten about. Food was nice but not special enough for a return visit

Can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience which is a shame as the food we managed to get was ok. What I didn't like: I didn't like literally every 5 minutes the staff stopping everything to sing happy birthday to some guest. I think we had to sit through it 5 or 6 times. This was made worse by the fact service was terrible to non existent. The restaurant was not busy but it took 2 hours for our table of 6 to have 1 drink and 1 course. One of the partys food did not get served and had to have the meal in a "doggy bag" to take home. They didn't charge for that meal... small consolation when you've all come to eat together. In 2 hours we didn't get asked for more drinks. We didn't get offered desserts. We didn't get offered coffees..seriously... not once. It was one order of drinks. One course of food and then ignored. Restaurant weren't that bothered. Said sorry but still charged us full price. Not even a drink to say sorry. Well I'll say sorry: Sorry... we won't be coming back.

Quiet evening in the restaurant. Very welcoming staff as we arrived. Waiter called Ryan was very attentive, very friendly and very efficient. Food delicious as usual.

It's a while since we have been to Valentino's Wakefield which is a pity as it was truly amazing! When we arrived at three in the afternoon on a Sunday we had the place to ourselves, but after a while it did start to fill up. I don't recall what everyone in my party had to eat but for me it was Fish Bites (very tasty) for starter and my main course was Pollo Valentino's. Perfection! I had to skip dessert due to lack of space, so I settled for a quiet cup of Earl Grey tea! The atmosphere at Valentino's is also worth noting as being somewhat special. The guests are made to feel comfortable, there is no rushing about, no pressure to order. Everything seems somewhat casual and laid back yet in the backbackground the team at Valentino's are working tirelessly to deliver a first class service. There is only one Valentino's Wakefield and for me they fully deserve a 5+ star rating. If you have never been there, give it a try!
