Fabulous fish and chips. Hearty, tasty. It's all about the battery. Crispy without being crunchy, tasty yet melt in the mouth. Proper nosh.

We went during Ramadan so when we arrived they were not ready, but they very kindly let us sit in the restaurant until they were ready. The food was fantastic and the gentleman serving us was really helpful with us making good choices off the menu. We went for the karahi‘s and they were outstanding. Sadly we live 100 miles away or it would be our new regular restaurant but we will be back despite the long drive.

Absolutely class, lovely Owner had a good chat about Scotland and Isle of Skye couple of other things, he was a really nice fella, and the food was well perfect the fish was the tastiest fish I’ve had in years, I travel the country and have chippy every Friday, It was cooked perfect everything was just perfect proper curry sauce, I’d give it it 6 stars if I could what place.

Pancakes was sogged off cheap chocolate sauce I ordered cookies and cream ice cream and got ice cream with dark chocolate milkshakes was full of cream I was very disappointed and unsatisfied will never be ordering from here again what a waste of money

Always enjoy, have been coming here for 30+ years and usually once a week either to dine in or takeaway.

Food ordered for takeaway collection, everything was ready on time, food still hot when arrived home, food quality and quantity earned praise from all four diners. Slight discrepancy in order/supply - the lemon rice became almond rice and Bombay aloo large became small. Not a problem for us but someone with a nut allergy could have been in difficulty.

Best place for pizzas in the area! Always fresh and cooked to perfection!

Alison, thank you so much for hosting my dad's wake. The food went down a treat and you really listened to our requirements/preferences. I highly recommend this lovely pub and lovely publicans.

Booked this for my wife’s birthday as we were recommended to have the carvery. The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. However cannot say the same for the service which was woeful. I ended up having to fetch the drinks for our table throughout our meal as staff could not cope. Also overheard constant complaints from the staff about their job which, to be honest, the public should not be able to hear. Would I come again? Not sure. for the food alone yes but servicewise they have a lot of work to do to make it acceptable. A tip for anyone, make sure you check your bill, especially drinks, as there was mistakes on ours.

Absolutely incredible cafe with an extensive choice of breakfasts from around the world. Fantastic welcome from the owner who was so friendly and accommodating! Staff were friendly and attentive too. The French toast was like a warm hug on a cold morning! My husband had the Strada breakfast which put him into silence for 15 minutes! Coffee was amazing, so incredibly smooth. If you are passing call in, we will back! What a gem of a place!

Good quality fish and chips. Other stuff - pies, sausages, etc - is also good. Prices are reasonable. Service is excellent - very friendly and helpful. It's also very clean - very important at present - and parking is right outside and dead easy. Highly recommended.
