Good quality fish and chips. Other stuff - pies, sausages, etc - is also good. Prices are reasonable. Service is excellent - very friendly and helpful. It's also very clean - very important at present - and parking is right outside and dead easy. Highly recommended.

Having lived in the Calder Valley for 30 years, I've tried all the fish and chip shops from Halifax to Todmorden. The best, beyond any shadow of a doubt, is Tudor Chippy. The chips are beautifully crisp on the outside, and soft and floury on the inside, just as they should be. I've only had fish once, but it, too, was perfection. Crispy outside, tender and flakey inside. Because I (generally) live on hope and hot air, I'm unable to treat myself more than a few times a month, but I have never left this chippy feeling less than thrilled with the beautiful food. The care and preparation they put into their products can be tasted. The food is so fresh, and the prices are very reasonable, with portion sizes being just right - not too much - so there's no waste, and not too little that one might still feel hungry. There is limited seating outside, and plenty of roadside in which to park. I can't praise this family business enough, and would urge everyone to try it. I guarantee it won't be your last visit.

A family run chippy that serves amazing food and will cater to all needs wherever possible. Nothing is too much trouble. Food is always delicious, never had a problem. Denise and Kevin are very easygoing and lovely to talk to. Give it a go, you won’t regret it!
