The best restaurants in Pickering Kingston upon Hull, City of Yorkshire and The Humber

The first dog friendly cafe we have visited. To say it was hit with Pablo and Daphne is an under statement. Grain free doggy biscuits for this pair and cake and coffee for the humans. Great menu for both humans and dogs to pick from. Friendly service, great food and a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area

I attended on Monday afternoon for the first time with my brother . We had just missed breakfast but I picked something off the brunch menu and just requested a few additions which the staff were happy to accommodate. The cafe was packed and all staff were very busy but we didn’t have to wait long to be served . Food was excellent and the waitress who served us was lovely . I will be returning the next time I’m in the area . Very impressive

It could use a little love, bit I kinda like it. Food would be good obviously. And perhaps a tidy of the beer garden. Would frequent more often.

I ordered 2 minutes before delivery closed (which I felt awful about but I’ve been really I’ll and wanted some good food) so I had low expectations but the food was amazing and the portions for the price was great paid £7 inc delivery and Uber service fees. Would 100% reccomend

I found my new favourite takeaway. Having recently moved back to Hull my old takeaway has changed hands.(Moonlight cottingham road) I felt it was not as good as it used to be. The search was on! Having tried many a friend at work recommended curry leaf. I was not disappointed. Good portion size, decent price, I judge a Indian by its madras and this one does not disappoint. Check out the specials menu, I tried the lamb Lanka, very similar to a madras but much more flavourful. Quiet hot! Everyone I have recommended this place to has reported good food and are now regulars. I always pick my food up from takeaways as I feel I can get it home quicker and therefore enjoy a fresher prepared meal. I feel If you got food delivered there will be some compromise on quality. I want to start by mentioning Michelle who went above and beyond to find us a room after I thought I had completed our booking and hadn't. We had set of on our 3.5 hour journey, with our toddler and 12 week old baby, had Michelle not of helped us we would have been really stuck so thank you again Michelle! Staff where extremely welcoming on arrival and helped us check in, explaing where all the amenities where and reccomended that we book dinner as it gets very busy. The room itself was very clean (The hotel itself was very clean) and spacious, its great that the Village offers a travel cot free of charge the cellular blanket was a lovely touch. There was a good choice at breakfast but I would suggest getting there earlier, we left breakfast until late arriving at 10am, alot of the food had gone ( Fruit, yogurt, veggie options) Location is very close to shops, Aldi and Sainsbury's, 10 minute drive to the deep. Would 100% stay here again. Also nice that they offer a blue light discount. Thanks for the stay

Me and my partner both ate here during our stay using a voucher of £50 that the hotel provided us with. The food was very good, tasty and we had a decent portion - we both said we would eat there again.
