Popped in for a coffee and little did I realise there is a shop at the back ! Selling all sorts of wonderful things. New, collectable, vinyl ( records) mid century, collectable ceramics & soft furnishings. Well worth a visit.

My daughter and I was in the area for an appointment. Whist waiting we decided to find somewhere to get something to eat and came across this lovely cafe. The owners are just lovely, attentive, chatty with great sense of humour. The atmosphere was great, customers chatting to each other and the owners seem to have a great rapour with their regular customers as well as building great relationship with new customers.Due to my daughter's appointment over running, I stayed for quite sometime and although there was a constant flow of customers I was able to get on and do some work whilst waiting. The owner made regular check backs without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was cooked to order and really lovely. All in all a really lovely place and we will be back soon.

Fantastic breakfast. Large portions, all really well cooked and great value for money. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area

Sunday takeaway lunches are good value for money and the ham salad sarnies are the best quality and price for miles around not the cheap ham like a lot of places and lovely fresh crisp salad made to order..

Incredible food in an incredible pub setting. We stopped here for lunch and couldn’t have been happier we did. Our children had the Mac n cheese and we each had the brisket burger. 10/10 all round. Would 100% recommend coming here if you like good food in a relaxed pub setting. The pub does a great beer and cider too!

We enjoyed a quiet lunch in this very pleasant dining room - untroubled by intrusive music or indeed other noisy diners. We had excellent service from the young waitress and the food was good. A lovely crab starter was refreshing and delicious. I found my main course of potato and celeriac galette with camembert a little rich for my taste but my husband enjoyed his dish of duck. We couldn't manage desserts but the truffles with coffee were a suitable finish to our lunch. This is a lovely venue with a relaxed and warm atmosphere and I have enjoyed every visit so far. .
