El Dorados Tex Mex in East Riding of Yorkshire

With Driffield not having a lot of food choices we regularly order takeaway from El Dorados and occasionally eat in and normally can't fault the food. However this evening I order double cajun chicken breasts, with extra cajun, as I would normally, after completing in the past. Unfortunately I got 2 chargrilled chicken breasts that don't look like they have ever see a dust of cajun.

Just got home from el dorados tex mex.been saying for ages we should go and we most definitely should of gone to eat here ages ago.food was excellent and staff great.will definitely be going again now.

Had such a lovely evening at El Dorados! The service was 10/10, staff are extremely helpful and helped with anything that we needed. The food was the best, the meat was so soft and tender, I had the prawns and chicken fajitas and they was great! Will definately be back!

Excellent food, very large quantities in a fun atmosphere. The staff are incredibly welcoming, the menu offers good value, definitely worth a visit.

We received a warm welcome on arrival and given time to chat and catch up before ordering. The food was hot, delicious and well presented. Its definitely worth visiting

Never got to visit as it is closed nearly more than its open. ****** Thanks for the reply from the owners. I don't think my review is review is rude or shameful. Its simply factual. Its rare to find a business in the hospitality sector that is closed 3 days a week and has narrow opening hours, when open. I would encourage you to open longer so more people can enjoy your good Mexican food. Thats just a helpful suggestion... Best business wishes

We had a wonderful evening here for Valentine's Day. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. We shared a plate of 'Super Nachos' for starters and both had vegetarian Chimichangas. It was all just great. Fab, friendly service and a really relaxed atmosphere, with great portion sizes representing good value for money: we'll be back.

Just had a takeaway from here and was amazing. By far the best in driffield. Freshly cooked food. The only takeaway/ restaurant we will be ordering from now! 5 star and great value for the amount of food.

Best food we’ve had in a long time! Ended up visiting two evenings in a row because it was sooooo good and very reasonably priced. The staff are fab too! What more could you ask for!

Visited here while on holiday in the area. Good food at really reasonable prices and friendly service. Small restaurant, but also take away and delivery options. Would recommend.

We regularly have takeaways from here,and have dined in ore and post pandemic. So pleased they managed to survive the lockdowns! Fantastic restaurant + excellent staff.

Good menu. My food was delicious. Group of us and they arranged individual bills. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Great night.

Ordered from el dorado for the first time, service was outstanding and the food was flavoursome and exceptionally hot :) customer service was outstanding and friendly, 10/10 would recommend!

Can recommend the garlic prawns. But all menu is great. Been good service during lockdown as a delivery customer.

This has to be the best takeaway in Great Driffield. The staff are wacky but provide great service. The food is well tasty and reasonably priced. If this was on the stock market I would definitely by shares.

Been visiting Driffield (on a fishing trip) the last couple days and have had takeaway from El Dorados both evenings. It's been absolutely superb! Can highly recommend the crispy potato skins (appetiser), burrito and enchiladas with vegetarian chili for mains! We will be back for sure, next time we are in Yorkshire.

Had an impromptu meal for 2 which we enjoyed very much service was very professional and the food was tasty. The Menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced. There was a fair turnover of takeaway coming and going which can be a little distracting if you are after a quiet meal so table selection is recommended A range of drinks and cocktails is available to be sampled and the house wine is reasonably priced and quite nice. I have booked again on the strength of last night and am looking forward to it.

Very poor sizzling fajitas never seen a sizzle looked and tasted like microwaved chicken. waitress was told when she cleared plates and she said she would tell chef. The complaint was totally ignored so we paid our bill and beat a hasty retreat. Never again,very rude.

Great tasty food, nice restaurant with friendly, attentive staff! Only one thing negative and that was it was quite cold in the restaurant, otherwise it would have been 5 star.

Like it a lot. Food generally very good indeed. Upper floor can be a little lonely if you get put up there when no other tables are full. Staff very attentive. Food choices good and never bland.

food was tasty enough, except the sizzling Cajun platter was not sizzling or Cajun flavoured. food and drinks came out 5 minutes between each diner despite there only being 4 other orders being placed whilst we were there. We ordered a bottle of wine which was obviously totally forgotten about, and each time I tried to catch a waitresses eye, they just smiled. We ordered 3 cocktails, 1 of which was a liquor coffee, which is the only one that actually arrived after 15 minutes and was cold.

Nice choice of veggie meals available, decently priced, even more so on the early bird and takeaway menus (even if it does result in some odd price!) Only real complaint I have is the rice has been dry every time I’ve eaten here, both in the restaurant and as a takeaway. Not that that will stop me coming here again anyway

As a family we have dined here on many occasions, probably the best restaurant in driffield with a great choice of Tex Mex. The staff are always warm and friendly and they have a great discount if your in before 6pm. They also have a great choice of drinks and cocktails. It's a must for all Tex Mex fans.
