Always a pleasant watering hole but recent revamp has made it even more attractive with a good menu and great beers. Sadly not quite so dog-friendly as before with owners being required to use the 'boot room' or eat outside.
Popped in as it had been refurbished. Place looks great now. The garden has also been done and is spacious-there is a pergola at the 1 end with long benches and screening to protect from the wind. Hanging baskets finish off the look.
Well worth a visit.

Lovely restaurant with views over the river. Service was excellent as was the food . Lovely Caitlin looked after our table a pleasant helpful and cheerful young lady.
I first spotted Jah Mikes last year and what impressed me the most was that he was busy in the kitchen prepping at around 9.30am. It took a few weeks to get back and order our first meal but it was well worth the wait. Mike seems to have a slightly different business model to other takeaways. I guess he makes everything fresh in the morning each day and when it's gone it's gone! Well, I finally managed to get over to him on a Monday lunchtime and the Jerk Chicken was sensational. More than enough for 2 meals. #what a nice guy and what a credit to Tunstall town centre
As we entered the lovely lady came to us with menus. Food was brought to us on hot plates and presented very nicely. We all enjoyed what we had. Thankyou will return.
I absolutely love your Macha lattes and your Leamington Spa Royal Shires store is fantastic with the best staff. Sadie your store manager couldn’t be anymore friendly, polite, helpful and compassionate. I have a disability and all of your staff are very respectful and bring me my drinks and are patient with me. Gracie has helped me on numerous occasions and today Ash and Jess were extremely helpful and charming too. I only go to Starbucks for my drinks for this reason. Please both pass on my thanks and give them the recognition they deserve. Greg Weston
We ordered buss up shot, dhalpuri and pholourie for my Guyanese Mum’s 90th party. Many guests were Guyanese and we all loved the food. So so refreshing to know that we do not have to go to London any more to get Guyanese/Trini food !!
I discovered this place whilst staying in the area and looking for a spot for morning coffee.
Absolutely fantastic coffee & service, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the cakes were a lovely mid-morning treat.
Will definitely be back for lunch next time I'm in the area.
Wonderful helpful staff really friendly and helpful. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly . My husband enjoyed the pie the pastry wasn't too thick. This was a return as we had come across the place 2days before by accident and were impressed

Ordered 2 philli cheesesteak bundles, missing 1 milkshake and both steak sandwiches had a horrible aftertaste in the sauce, literally couldn’t eat them. To top it off the chips weren’t even cooked. Biggest waste of £35 I’ve ever spent.
The boss, Kishore, always does a marvellous job. His cooking hot, always tasty and competitively priced.
There is a very smart bar, a huge, well-appointed dining room but with rather more televisions than is really needed
All it needs is some real ales to be perfect
Fantastic food, atmosphere & service. Good prices & beer choices, really enjoyed our visit. We have a medium and spicy dish and both didn’t disappoint. Possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had.
