The best restaurants in West Midlands

The village cafe offer so much, be it breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake. The staff are excellent and friendly, service is first class. Our visits here started as a once a week meeting now our friends meet us here, only today we went to another cafe and they requested we meet next week at the Village Cafe, it’s a place loved by all. Well done to Charlotte and her team, keep up the good work 😊

I politely asked for a glass to get some water, and the man in the hat making coffee completely ignored me and went back to what he was doing. Then after he finally gave me a glass, I turned my back and he called me a prick for no reason at all. I didn’t hear this but the people at my table all saw and heard it. Completely unprofessional and rude. The only saving grace for this place is that the girl working there was lovely and helpful. This guy completely ruined the coffee shop. I, and everyone else I know, won’t be going back.

I can’t believe we have not tried this restaurant before. We will definitely return. The food was great and a very nice Turkish lager to accompany it. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is very welcoming.

Yes, it would be nice if you updated the timetable displayed on the internet...which mentions that the pizzeria is open until 11:30pm...;) and actually: surprise!!! it is closed from 16:00!

"ill have 3 large bobby hills mate and 2 small cones of bobby hill" is what me and my well mannered associates ordered from mr gripton, wewere told to leave the establishment so we called them via mobile telephone an asked again "ill have 3 large bobby hills mate and 2 cones of bobby hill" unless my mobile telephonic communication device struc itself than what a unfortunate event. we asked again days later and the staff turned into bobby hill and smited me with a blunerbuss. 10/10 much recomnd

Their menu now - May 2025 - is nothing like the one advertised here and is pretty disappointing. If you want a burger or a kebab, that's fine, but don't expect anything more.

Another meal out with family at The Himalayan. As always we had a warm welcome. The food was excellent, flavoursome, great portion sizes and really good quality. Thanks for my Chana chat puri which as always was superb. See you again when we’re next down on a visit to family. Highly recommend a visit here if you haven’t been.

This company should call themselves tasteless , after waiting over 90 mins for chicken that was clearly cooked yesterday, for it to arrive cold and accompanied by a store bought masala sauce cover in food colouring, also cold, and after rude customer sevice as a side order, they won’t last , you’ve been warned. NEVER AGAIN

It can be said to be a gathering place for Hong Kong people, and most of the diners are Hong Kong people. There are only three restaurants opened by Hong Kong people in the food court, namely: Siu Mei, Cha Kee, and Xiao Chao. The overall portions are sufficient, but the food quality is not stable, so it is still acceptable.

We had Sunday lunch yesterday. It was absolutely delicious , served piping hot and with generous portions. We will be returning and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Portions are small had to wait 35 mins for food noise from the kids was like being in a crèche and people were vaping in the restaurant wouldn’t go again

Decided to have a cup of coffee whilst having a look at the beautiful stained glass windows in St Mary's Church. Very pleasant and helpful staff and a delicious coffee served in a very grand setting.
