Great little cafe, food was really nice and cooked to perfection. Friendly staff , made my day saying my partners son looked like a girl after calling him a princess 🤣🤣. Definitely go again when I'm in the area

Went tonight (29/3/25) first time visitors, although drove past the place for years for work etc..I don't usually go into much detail for a for review it's either good or bad. But this place.. 10 out 10 service 10 out 10 food 10 out 10 staff. I can definitely say best chippy we've had in years. Portions were way more than we needed. Qaulity of food is top notch preparation is fantastic staff know their job well. And the fish and chips are next level, curry and peas bang on, doner meat bang on(just a bit thick cut for me, but I'll remember to ask for thin next time) salad fresh no issues and asked bonus of red and white cabbage is always a win. But the fish and chips..... I have now finally found a place I can just say.. legs go to the chippy and not have head ache of searching for somewhere decent for an hour. Nice little family owned restaurant. Food has been great both times we've been there. Great value for great food.

New owner is okay. Great set of staff behind the bar. When new landlord took over was very quiet but now its busy and great atmosphere.

Perfectly ok. Good drinks, if also reassuringly expensive. The app is a good idea to recoup the expenditure if you do like going quite often. Some slip ups relating to outdoor seating and related issues cost.. ahem.. full marks.

Great beer good service and a well run public house

Stopped by Open House for the second time whilst visiting from Suffolk , and was very much looking forward to eating here again . Went for the Himalayan Lamb Curry this time while my other had chicken tikka masala and Debbi had sirloin steak cooked rare and as she said “ perfectly cooked and delicious “. Easily the sign of a good chef to nail a good steak . My curry was outstanding , fresh flavours, well balanced and clearly cooked by a man who knows his spices and how they compliment each other . Mother was very happy with her tikka masala , not my personal taste normally but it tasted good and not overly sweet and creamy as it so often does . Three meals with accompaniments and a bottle of wine for just over £55 so excellent value and Prakesha ( hope that’s the correct spelling ) is a polite and professional host . Will definitely be back next time we are visiting Brownhills .

Gorgeous festive afternoon tea. Well done to Becky Weeks and all the staff at The Sidings. Food was lovely and service was excellent. Feeling fatter than ever 🐷 The volunteers are priceless too.
