I've been coming to this restaurant for many years, and never disappoints! Last night I had the platter, jungle curry and pad kee mow, my girlfriend had pad thai.All dishes were perfect. Been to thai restaurants all over the world and this is the best! Great friendly service .A real hidden gem!

First time visiting as only moved into the area recently. Absolutely fantastic place. Relaxed and super friendly staff. Food was beautiful and well presented. We had the Chang rai set menu for two and every dish was superb. We will definitely be returning. Thankyou Thai Lanna.

Our first visit. This is a lovely restaurant with amazing food. We had Veg Spring Rolls and Satay Chicken to start which were amazing, particularly Spring Rolls which were so light and crispy. We had 3 mains including Chicken Masamum Curry, 3 other mains (can’t recall names) and 2 egg fried rice. All amazing!! Finally mint bomb dessert which was also lovely. Service was amazing. Restaurant thoroughly recommended!! Won’t be our last visit

Very homely and pleasant atmosphere. Food was gorgeous. We opted for the set menu to try and bit of everything. I'm not usually a soup person but this was incredible. Food was all fresh and tasty. Drinks were reasonable , no draught options but the bottled lagers were nice... singha I think it was ..was very nice! We went off a recommendation and glad we did. We'll be back!

Great service, great food and a lovely venue. I’ve lived in Brownhills all my life and can’t believe I’ve never visited this place. I’ve visited Thailand a few times and can honestly say the food at Thai Lana is spot on! The service we received was fantastic and to see the owner walking around talking to tables is very rare to see these days. The Menu is very extensive and I highly recommend Thai Lana. AMAZING FOOD & AMAZING SERVICE

Amazing, 5* authentic Thai food. I highly recommend this resturant. There is a flight of stairs to access the resturant, & do not be out off by the outwardly appearance…this is a beautiful, family run business. Staff spend time with the customers & families are welcome. You can take out from here, collection only. I have yet to have a meal here that is anything but lovely.

We've been here several times now and we've never been disappointed 😊 The food is always wonderful, really tasty and unique. We had a group of 10 of us this time with most never having tried Thai food. We all went away happy and content with our bellies full! The massage curry is a definite dish to try, it's a creamy, spicy tasting curry which is delicious 😋 we usually do a set meal between us so we get to try several dishes each, it works well if you're not sure what to order! We had desserts as well and the Ferrero Rocher is cream was amazing. I'm not a massive ice cream fan either and I'll order it for me next time! This is a lovely gem of a restaurant on the outskirts or Norton/Brownhills West that everyone should get along to. The external property and internal decor is very traditional and when walking in it feels a little bizarre. Don't let that marr your view of the amazing restaurant that is the Thai Lanna Chasewater. Everywhere is clean and food is piping hot and delicious. Pop along, you won't be disappointed! Ps. I didn't take any photos of the food as it was gone in a flash! 😅

We had not been before and were not sure what to expect as from the outside it doesn't look like much. OMG the food was amazing, all fresh and so tasty. Worth every penny 100% will go again. Service is really good, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I cannot recommend enough please try it for yourself!

We came here for New Year’s Eve – an excellent way to see out 2022. There’s a good range of vegetarian choices, and there is on-site parking. Staff were friendly and efficient, as always. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten track, but worth hunting out, and we plan to come a bit more often in 2023. Happy New Year to all the hard-working staff!

We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 18 years since moving to the area. It has become a tradition to eat here on New Years Eve. Even though all the tables were reserved the service was very quick. We sometimes have a set meal but this time we chose form the main menu, including sizzling beef, sweet and sour fish and a lovely red curry. The food is authentic and cooked fresh each day. The family who run the restaurant are very friendly and work hard.

Authenticity is the word best to describe this amazing resteraunt. The food is served in an authentic Thai decor quaint cosy setting. The food is served with care and passion and the staff are super friendly. The food is super tasty and spicy. Try and you will be hooked.

This restaurant has been around 22 years and I only just discovered it! My wife and I went here for a meal last weekend and really enjoyed it. We opted for a set menu and every dish was delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively with lots of couples and families enjoying a night out. The staff were friendly and made sure we were happy with everything as the evening progressed. Can’t fault a thing! We will definitely return soon. 👌🏻

First visit over the weekend and this is definitely one of the best Thai meals we’ve had. The green and red curries were both excellent. The surroundings are pleasant and plenty of parking on site. We will be back!

Not the best thai restaurant I've been to. Food was ok nothing special, the English guy that came to take the order found it very hard to understand what we was trying to order because his eye sight was really bad he could not read the main menu. Was over priced at the end of the night by 4pounds not sure why..!

So enjoyed the tasty Thai food here and was served by friendly informative staff. Food took a bit of a long time to arrive but it didn’t deter from the enjoyable evening meal for us, some people might want fast food if so go to a fast food outlet! Well worth driving out of town for a great meal.

Myself and my partner made our first visit to the restaurant and we wasn't disappointed, the food was excellent, the service was quick and staff very helpful on recommendations on what to eat as it was our first Thai meal. I personally recommend the deep fried ice cream on the sweet menu, it was excellent

My wife and I have been visiting this for 12+ years and tend to come and a special night out , over the time we have been coming it as always been consistently excellent! Service and food is always superb , we always go with the Nan set meal which is great, the Tom Khar Gai soup is to die for so we have that between the starters and main courses. Probably my favourite restaurant anywhere 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Due to Covid 19 you can’t dine in anymore and we were missing our Thai food so decided to order a takeaway. The food was delicious as usual and we were given a selection of available times to collect to avoid contact with other takeaway customers. Fab service keep up the good work!

Called this restaurant as me and my partner are seriously into Thai food and as soon at the English speaking man answered the phone he appeared stressed! Asked for a pick up and all I got was “I can try and fit you in, it depends on what and how much you order” so I go ahead with my order and all I get is “just say the number” “I can’t hear you” just generally bad customer service. Once the phone was put down, We made the decision I did not want to eat there anymore because of the bad service, so called back and cancelled. No apology when I told him I felt like he didn’t want us to eat there and then he said “hope they haven’t started cooking it” and put the phone down. I will not be ordering again from this restaurant and I hope this doesn’t happen to another decent customer. Such a shame. It doesn’t hurt to be nice.

We dropped in here because we were tired of eating in the same places and generally being disappointed. The same could not be said here.We didn't book but should have really;it got quite busy with what looked like regular customers. We were allocated a table and ordered the set menu for us adults and our kids had noodles with chicken satay.All of the food was fresh, tasty and filling. The flavours were nicely balanced and delicate.Staff were friendly and professional. The bill was really reasonably priced.We will certainly return. Thanks again!

Thai...... hmmmmm. Portion sizes are a joke, £5 for a mugs worth of soup! A guy (kevin) whos a little bit rude and a LOT of effort to have a conversation with and doesn’t even speak bloody Thai! Tom yung was ok, the take out was horrible. Ive been many times and lived in Thailand and the foods WAY over priced for the portion sizes and not that great. First and last visit!

Another jewel for food connoisseurs. Beautiful Thai setting with the taste of the lovely hospitality of the Thai's. The food is served in traditional Thai pots..full points for decor presentation and taste of food. We ordered quite a few items and found all of them equally great. Must go to place.

Looking through Google maps, Thai Lanna made an appearance. Having not been before we thought based on the reviews that we would give it a go. We weren't disappointed. The food and service was excellent. Definitely a place i would drive too and not past. Fantastic.

My boyfriend and i visited this restaurant as we have a forthcoming holiday to Thailand and wanted try some Thai food. This is a small restaurant which for us was a plus as it was more personable. It was authentic with interesting decor to admire and very clean and tidy.We ordered the set menu so we could try a range of dishes. This included a starter platter, 3 main dishes plus rice qnd vegetables. We also ordered as small pud thai (noodle dish)to try.The starter platter was beautifully presented with five different starters plus accompanying sauces - the chicken satay was very tasty and both our favourite. When the mains came we did think ordering an extra dish may have been a little too much as there was certainly a lot of food and we left about half of the noodle dish as we were full. The food was tasty with lots of flavour but at the time light and not too rich. The set menus are excellent value for money and provide generous portions. The bottled beers were also really well priced and an opportunity to try some Thai larger. We really enjoyed our experience at the Thai Lana and will definitely be returning.
