I was served by milly and I was so pleased with the service she checked if we were happy with our meal and created a fantastic atmosphere. Recommend you get served by her. Will be coming again.

I’m looking forward to the re opening of this little gem. The breakfast was always good, served with a bucket of hot coffee. Whilst not speedy service, breakfast was cooked to order. So hope that when it re opens it’s still an ASDA own cafe not been sold off to Starbucks or similar.

Excellent sevice and beautiful carvery as always. Sister inlaw has a servere nut allergy and lewis and jack went above and beyond with sanitising our table to getting separate cutlery for her and making sure her food was always kept separate ,Even changing all the serving utensils and sanitising the carvery station before they served her meal and letting her know what dishes to avoid incase of traces of nuts. Absolutely amazing service and nice to see them taking people's allergies seriously. 100% recommend a visit. We will return Thank you lewis and Jack for your excellent service

Had a takeaway fir eight adults on Saturday night. Obviously we had a large range of dishes between us. Food was ok really liked the yuk sung but the chicken balls were a bit doughy. I think Oakengates has better options out there to be honest.

Always serving tasty, hot drinks exactly how you ask. Store is always immaculate and clean, it's so inviting and cosy to sit in. Lovely staff. We'll done, team!

Don't use here unless you want your poorly made and wrong

Booked large group table a month in advance, to ensure we would get in as its always been busy in the past. They took my contact details. Arrived on the day to find it shut up in darkness and handwritten sign on door saying closed due to refurb until further notice. Why bother to take contact details and then not use them to advise change in circumstances. Wagamama to the rescue! Having read the reviews since, I have to say it seems we had a near miss as the quality and service isn't what it used to be under previous management.
