Asda Cafe in Telford and Wrekin

Ive been in now around 7 times and i went in today because its my birthday so i treated myself to a dinner and every time ive been the foods been fantastic!!!!! Great friendly staff to i highly recommend it plus its cheap and the meals are great thank you i very much enjoyed my meals

Absolutely appalling service. Arrived around 1.30pm, seemed fairly reasonable in there and not too busy. Waited around 15mins after i joined the queue for the one couple in the infront of me to be served and when that couple got served, the lady working the till went off and it was another 5mins before I got served. I started to place my order only to be rudely interrupted saying they weren't doing jacket potatoes today. With the lady's rude, abrupt attitude and the fact she appeared to have as much get up and go as a snail, I didn't dare ask what they were actually serving today, and even if I did ask, I am positive I wouldn't have got a reply without any attitude. I get that today (1.1.24) is a bank holiday which usually means running a reduced menu, but there's no need whatsoever for the attitude I encountered. Myself and my little family got up, left and went elsewhere to get some lunch. This was our first and last visit as we will not be returning to the Asda Cafe again. Only selected one star on everything as had to select something, I wouldn't have given any stars otherwise

Popped in for some breakfast at 11:30 (breakfast served till 12). We were first told by server named Lesley that we'd "just have to wait a moment, as we're doing the breakfast switchover".When my wife asked for an ultimate breakfast, Lesley rolled her eyes before looking over the items and said "yeah, we can do that".Then my wife asked for a kids breakfast for our daughter, and when asked for which items we wanted, my wife asked for sausage, beans and scrambled egg. This was immediately interrupted with "no, we dont have scrambled eggs, I told you we're doing the breakfast switchover".I was planning on asking for an American breakfast, however after this service so far, I had no intention of being spoken to like this, so instead just asked for crumpets from the counter.Upon being asked for drinks, my wife didn't ask for one, and I asked for a coffee for myself. I was rudely asked "what coffee?", with which I replied "just a white please". This was then met with another eye roll and a response of "We dont do white coffee, you'll have to have an americano and add the milk yourself".By this point I'd had enough of being spoken to like this, so promptly paid and we went and sat down. I then realized that I hadn't been served my coffee, but had no intention of returning to the counter to be spoken to in such a manner again.We quickly just ate all of our food and left to do our shopping. I thought it was absolutely disgusting to be treated this way when we still had a half hour to order of the breakfast menu (as advertised). The food was admittedly very nice, however we were not made to feel welcome and instead just treated as if we were a hindrance for the server.Unfortunately, we probably will not be returning to the cafe again.

A very busy place early morning but staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good variety of freshly cooked breakfast food, full english with choice of eggs, and lots of other choices. 2 fried eggs, 2 sausages, 2 rashers of bacon, 2 hash browns, fried bread, mushrooms and tomato all for £5!!! Brilliant, no wonder it is popular. a place to remember for early starts.

We had a sausage bap and bacon bap,both were very tasty. However the coffee was a real let down,advertised as the best( according to somewhere). It was pretty week. The cafe represents great value

just called in for coffee with my Wife had to wait a while as there were a bit of a queue went and found a table and then they brought our drinks

not like it was before .run by a outside firm long wait for food overcooked tables not kept clear waste of money had a refund as complaind

Ordered 2 x 6 item breakfasts. Staff were helpful and able to change items on the breakfast. Good value for money, and for a change decently cooked food. Beans were the best I have eaten. Hot chocolate was however disappointing, little or no taste of chocolate.
