Bridge Builder in Telford and Wrekin

Can't speak highly enough of all the staff at the Bridge Builder over the past weekend especially GM Steph, Faye, Team Leader's Katelyn and Nicola and all of the staff on shift Friday & Saturday night 👌 It was my sons 18th and there was FA Cup football showing including Man. Utd v Leicester Friday and Birmingham v Newcastle Saturday both nights there was a great atmosphere and never any stress to get a drink or some food , will be looking out for when the next football is showing and definitely be going back! Thanks to all the team 💪

Great breakfast and staff...Food nice and hot.... Building just needs a bit of tlc.. Look forward to a return visit.... Ps..can we get the tables revarnished please..

Came in for lunch and to catch up on admin during work. Good WiFi and lovely lunch menu with a good selection. Food came quickly and my waitress was lovely couldn’t do enough. Great service and great value would recommend I will return soon.

place are suitable for family, especially has a baby. Children can play in the play area and adult can gathering at the table one of the staff named Amy. She’s very helpful and nice. Highly recommend

Come here for a birthday party. Great food. All come out red hot. At the end of the night the chefs were cleaning up playing music and realised the children were dancing along to it. So he then played them some party songs to do some dances. His name was rhys. Thanks for that. All the children enjoyed there selves and the adults were happy 😊. Defo be returning again

Food was good and cheap. Food deals are nice. Wacky is great for kiddy’s who want to blow off steam. Served by Greg a happy chap who has interest in making stuff is right and offered an alternative to a cola issue we had. Just needs refurb

Met up with friends for lunch and chit chat, our server Greg was really friendly and helpful, efficiently swapped out some meal items without any fuss. A lot quieter than it was the last time we met up, but still a cheerful atmosphere, or that may just have been the crazy ladies I was with 😂

Decent food for a reasonable price.

Had a lovely surprise when I unexpectedly stopped off a the bridge builder for a breakfast to be honest I wasn’t expecting much but to my astonishment the breakfast was delicious and well worth the price. Also the staff Steph and Nicola couldn’t be more helpful. Great visit definitely returning.

Excellent service (as always) staff friendly and attentive. Food hot and nice. Went with family 6 adults 4 children. All very pleased with everything.

Best Sunday dinner I've had out in a long time the beef was beyond perfect definitely coming for Sunday lunch again,we do come here on occasions for drinks or snack , lovely place staff brilliant, still can't get over the beef superb, tasty gravy,I would of paid more if I knew the high standard of Sunday lunch thankyou all.

We had a wonderful time during our Breakfast with Santa visit. This is the second year we've been and the staff were all fantastic, thank you Holly and Amy.

We went to the wacky wear-house part for our little boy to play and to have breakfast. Amy was accommodating and lovely it was very quiet and that was nice lol. But breakfast and staff were fabulous.

Awful seats, taped together with gaffa tape. Slow service and had to wait 10mins after our food came out for them to bring cutlery. They weren't busy so not sure what the delay was. Kids liked the soft play though

For a budget range chain the staff are friendly and helpful. Pretty good value for money Only issue was the drinks were a bit flat.

Nice food...could have been a bit warmer unfortunately but it was served quickly. No knives and forks so had to go hunt for them across the other side of the pub. Atmosphere wasn't great but thisbis a chain pub and youbget what younoay for hence 4 stars

Hannah couldn't have been more helpful. My food could have been hotter but I understand it is difficult to get food for 8 adults and 5 children out at the same time all at perfect temperature. The food itself was lovely.

The staff were attentive and polite. The food didn't take long to arrive after ordering and it tasted very good. Maybe the manager from the coockoo oak should visit this place to see how it should be done.

Food came was cold in the middle,no apology just warmed back up while the rest of my food was going cold

It has been a long time since we went for a meal here so thought we would go tonight for some food it was a quiet night(1 or 2 couple in) the service was fine but the food was bad, no care in preparing food tasted and looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. the steak was over cooked we asked for rare and the burgers were drier than the Sahara desert. Family haven't felt well since the meal. Last time we will be visiting shame really.

Nice food fast and speedy service

The only reason for putting a four was because of the outside of the building. Needs a dam good clean up, all said and done the staff were very pleasant, we ordered food food that came out about 10 minutes after ordering and it was very tasty, hot and there was plenty of it. Been here for food three times now and never been disappointed at all..

The service was first class .The fish and chips some of the best I ever had, all for a great price.

Popped in on our way past Saturday at 5pm. Quick service nice food and attentive staff. Nice pint of Guinness too, what’s not to like.

A casual drop in for breakfast. Not very busy as 9.30am. Easy to find a table. You can either order at the bar or via an app. Friendly staff eager to serve. Food and drink were nice.

Took our little one and his cousin here for a meal. Food was absolutely lovely, play area was amazing and allowed them to burn off some steam.

Called in for lunch on a busy Saturday. Staff told us there was a 20 min wait for food . Food arrived well before the 20 minutes but our lovely server Steph apologised for the wait. Food was delicious and just as it's described on the menu. All staff were polite, efficient and happy. The pub itself needs some TLC and updating. Will return

As far as pub food goes this is. 5/5 for a hungry horse. Staff were brilliant and i was served by a girl who was on her break. She came right over when she saw me waiting at the bar . For that i am truly grateful. Lovely family and peaceful vibe .

Took the grand kids for a play and some food. They loved Wacky Warehouse and absolutely nailed their food. Can't say fairer than that. Sophie greeted us and was lovely. Give her a pay rise!

Like most 'Hungry Horse' establishment - reasonably priced food. But just look at the dessert that my wife and I shared. Soon finished it.

Ordered at the bar and sat down waiting for drinks. They were brought over by a very friendly member of staff. Waited on food. My order came out incorrect. Was salmon sizzler instead of steak. This was swapped. Then when I started to eat the jacket potato it was stone cold inside so again had to be sent back to wait on it coming out. The steak knife was broken. The wooden handle was pretty much hanging off. Such a shame as we had bee earlier in the week and had the same dish with no issues.. UPDATE.. I responded by email and have resent twice since with no reply

Amy our waitress whilst in the play area today was lovely. Very friendly and helpful with all the information as we hadn’t been here before. It’s a little tired looking and could do with a little update/lick of paint inside but the kids had fun and enjoyed their food.

Came for bank holiday breakfast and everything was lovely, staff were great and very friendly

Had a sunday roast with a drink,very tasty.the staff are very nice,and the pub is noce and clean,the only criticism is if you are sitting under a speaker the music can be a little loud.

Absolutely awful service today after ordering food 2 meals being off the 2 £11.49 menu and 1meal being off the 2for1 menu and 2 childrens meals only 1 of each adult meals arrived and when we asked where the others meals were they said they had made a mistake meaning 1 adult had to wait for there meal I then had to go and ask how much longer the missing meals would be as we had finished eating ours whilst the other was still waiting in all the missing orders arrived nearly an hour later .

Ordered jerk chicken & wings the half roast chicken was cooked perfectly chicken wings with the jerk sauce had a kick to it but enjoyable Thank you Skye for your table service and to the chef and bar staff,will be back again soon

Altho it's a Friday evening and quite busy food came out quickly and great quality. All staff were polite and friendly. Even came to check everything was OK.

Great soft play area attached. It was surprisingly quieter for the summer holidays but much appreciated. Soft play is great and all 3 kids loved it. Food, both adults meals were huge and very tasty highly recommend the tandoori sizzler. Kids meals we had the kids standard main meals and they were big enough for our 9 year old. Staff which were Amy and another lady who I didn't manage to catch her name, were pleasant, friendly, chatty and engaged with the kids that were playing which you don't normally see at soft play.

Bridge builder is a great place to come, food is always great and the service is excellent, very polite and pleasant. Would definitely recommend here.

Good food at a very good price definitely full up. On the full English, got to say a thank you to the server Xara, the place was quite busy for a Sunday morning but Xara went above and beyond, polite and professional throughout our visit. A refreshing change to our recent restaurant experiences around Telford, well done Xara and the bridge builder.

shocking it was that bad chips not cooked steak was grey and mega chewie been better eating my trainers , eggs rock hard all on mixed grill, next meal chips again not cooked burger aslo not cooked and the bread it must of been on the side all day hard never will we go there again how can you serve food like that to the public just SHOCKING

Came in last minute for lunch as we didn't have a lot on today. But I tried the new Southern Comfort atexas toast and it was the best thing I've eaten while put in a while. We'll worth a go. Top notch

Very plesent, meal most enjoyable

Lovely breakfast, quite empty pub as early morning so hard to judge atmosphere. Varied menu, plenty to choose from. Front of house Amy was lovely.

Nice quick breakfast - very good value. Would prefer my coffee served in a cup that’s not chipped on both sides - couldn’t be bothered to complain but will recommend the cup is thrown away. Amy was most helpful.
