The best restaurants in Bardon Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

Totally enjoyed our meal with friends. Food fantastic and staff very friendly and helpful, already booked for 21st December and looking forward to it!! Haven’t been here for a while as last meal months and months ago pre new management was awful so was hesitant to go again, but we were all blown away tonight with food and service.

Had a gift voucher for afternoon tea for two at the tearooms. Probably the best food we’ve had. Made on site and very fresh. Staff very helpful and friendly. This is a small rural building which apparently used to be the farm’s chicken sheds. If you want luxury silver service it won’t be for you but definitely couldn’t fault the food. Price is fairly high.

After a harrowing performance of Othello at the RSC the bar staff at the Blue Boar provided gentle sympathy and excellent Pinot Grigio. Food in the restaurant was well cooked and served by attentive waitresses . The room was comfortable, clean and the water was hot. Many thanks to Stephen for a delicious breakfast and good conversation. We look forward to staying at the Blue Boar again.

First time but not the last, great food, really friendly welcome and service, nothing else to be said. Would definitely recommend.

Now a small restaurant at the side of a pub in Shipston, I imagine that like us, most people order takeaway food from Chutneys. The starters and mains we ordered were excellent, really tasty and it'll take a few more visits to decide if this is better than the improved Shipston Bengal, which it may well be.

Stopped overnight in the motorhome and booked a sunday meal.parking facilities were the best we have ever had,large,flat,tidy overflow car park,lovely and quiet and had a good nights sleep.Staff were pleasant and the food and drinks were a fair price.We both had lamb and found it below average with quite a bit of fat on it.The rest of it was ok and no more in our opinion.Was a bit surprised that one of us had a normal plate and the other had like a large soup bowl [ not a flat plate] yet both ordered the same meal.
