The best restaurants serving British food in Bardon Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

We chose the Sunday roast and I can honestly the roast beef was probably the best I have eaten. The quantity was very generous and the veg and especially the cauliflower cheese was very good. The Pork roast was equally delicious and a generous portion. The service was attentive despite them being busy. I would not hesitate to return there. Thank you everyone for making us feel welcome.

Blue Boar in Temple Grafton is sign posted from and a short distance from the main A46 road on the Alcester side of Stratford-upon-Avon. Large car park. This local pub has evolved in to a "gastropub" with typical bar food supplemented by more inventive dishes. A pub feel in decoration. Table service and bar meals. Friendly service. Good food, well presented and tasty. Reasonable prices. Vegetarian options. Range of beers and wines.

Lovely pub, we went on a Wednesday evening so was quiet and peaceful. Staff were lovely. The food was great, hot and yummy! They had a wide range of gins available. It was also a very affordable meal of 2 mains for £24. Will be visiting again.
