Amazing fish and chips, good atmosphere and brilliant staff 👌... The food was hot and delicious the fish was NOT DRENCHED in oil or too much batter it was crispy and a load of actual fish. Used other places eg venus fish and chips but this is by far my favourite. New management is.doing an excellent job.

Attended six towns today and i was disappointed as I paid for a double sausage mushroom and egg oatcake and to my surprise when I got home did not have sausage in the oatcake. I would normally understand when it is busy that mistakes happen but there was literally only one other person who was being served next to me and 3 staff members. Unfortunately I did not fancy the drive back to complain and made do with what was recieved.

Super quality food all cooked fresh at very reasonable prices. generally with great service but after a recent visit I was a little nonplussed with the insistence of putting my food in a non recyclable tray! I asked for my food to be just wrapped in paper as I do at the other chip shops that I use, without any fuss. But here they insisted that it must be in the tray. I pointed out about current worries on recycling but surprisingly they weren’t interested. Disappointing.

My uncle arranged a funeral wake here for my nan in 2019 and we got both rooms. This time we paid similar costs but only got one room, there wasn't enough chairs. Not only that we had such nice food in 2019. The warm and cold food were of such high quality. This time we paid nearly £400 at 8.50 per head for over 40 of us. There wasn't a very good selection of food. Couple of coctail sausages. The hot food was awful. Sandwiches were very basic. The pringles and food just looked like they had been bought from aldi or lidl. Not only that we were not told the room would be required back by 7pm. We were told at 10 to 7 and they binned our food that was left rather than offer us to take it with us. Ended up speaking to the staff about it to be told "the person who arranged it was aware it ended at 7" which isn't the case as I arranged this myself directly. I offered her to read the messages I have for the conversation. My mother has passed away and I've had to arrange her funeral myself at just 30 years of age and to end up in almost an argument with staff is not how I wanted my mothers wake to go. Truly devastated 💔 I wouldn't even rate this place one star after

Why is this place closed? We have loads of takeaways and this place is one of the best imo....im a fussy eater but their kebab boxes were to die for 5 stars plus

Very tasty kurdish food, excellent shish kebab. Great tea and baklava, highly recommend when in Keele or Stoke-on-Trent.

Chips are absolutely vile if I must say so.. Donna meat was alright, but this chippy ain't for us. First and last time trying from here. Sorry

Lovely, friendly girl dropped off a perfect breakfast in excellent time! Lovely tasty food and incredibly hot and well packed! Will definitely be using Grillaz again!
