Super quality food all cooked fresh at very reasonable prices. generally with great service but after a recent visit I was a little nonplussed with the insistence of putting my food in a non recyclable tray! I asked for my food to be just wrapped in paper as I do at the other chip shops that I use, without any fuss. But here they insisted that it must be in the tray. I pointed out about current worries on recycling but surprisingly they weren’t interested. Disappointing.

One of only a couple of chippies that open on a Sunday evening and well worth the 15 min drive for us. Most of the food is beautifully cooked to order and those that are ready cooked are also to the same standard. Decor is a bit dated and could do with some basic TLC but this does not detract from the quality food and service we received here. Highly recommend.

Its a no nonsense take away fish and chip shop - not a sit down restaurant, but the quality and portion sizes are excellent value.
