Grandson and I went in for first time, one cortado, left half it was sooo bitter, he had latte, bitter He would have had a brownie but staff too busy talking to remember to serve one. The place gives sticky, dirty vibes .....meagre offering of the usual slab bakes Not for us

A very nice place! We come here very often and it's always so delicious, peaceful and very nice atmosphere. There are also labels and staff are very well informed and friendly for allergies. I had no problems despite my egg allergy. Would highly recommend to anyone

With prices higher than Central London you d expect good quality but it is average at best. Nice people, very friendly

Been into coffee house in Longton today had a lovely toffee latte and served by excellent friendly staff I am in there nearly every day always have a laugh and a joke with staff makes your day very happy, my son who is autistic also gets loves off the staff makes him very happy, he is also having his birthday party in there, it’s a wonderful happy place, staff will bend over backwards to help you if needed, great place . Family and I often go here as its a lovely spot central to town, with a very cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly staff too! They have quite the variety of delicious meals and deserts for a coffee shop, which makes it a nice place to enjoy a dinner break from work with a nice drink, excellent work!

Popped in for a latte which was the best ive ever had, which was ruined by these two middle aged blondes who were so unfriendly and un professional the worst treatment ive ever experienced. They kept looking at me giving me dirty looks also talking about me and making it very obvious what they were doing. I noticed that all that left before me were greeted with a thank you have a good day. When I had finished my lovely coffee got up to go they both walked past me gave me another dirty look to be ignored. For that reason I will never enter again to be treated by not one but two unfriendly staff in not a professional way.

The café has a peaceful, elegant, and calming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a moment of tranquility. I love sitting here with a good book, sipping my coffee, and letting the serene ambiance take over. The soft background music and cozy decor make it even more inviting. Thank you for creating such a wonderful space!

First of all all the tunes were bangers very cozy spot nice and clean the staff were extremely friendly and a massive thank you to the Lady that served us

A lovely coffee shop. Only criticism is when you ask for a drink made with skimmed milk you don’t actually get it. They just top up the jug with skimmed milk which already has normal milk in, sometimes quite a lot.

It is a great place to spend some time, the coffee is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet place to be.

Best iced mocha I’ve ever had! Huge shout out to Vicky for making the best iced mocha ever. Since finding this place I’ve have to go and get another 3 drinks in a matter of days. Much better than all the big coffee chains!

Visited first time today pleasant staff a must visit place to go when out shopping nice theme on the wall of old bottle ovens nicely set up spacious ,homemade cakes are delicious wheelchair access toilets

I’m working in the area for the next 3 months and The Coffee House looked to be the best option around (I try to stay away from big chains). I ordered an iced oat mocha and they began to make it with ice cream. I questioned them about it and was told that’s how they make it and they said it couldn’t be made over ice. I’ve never seen this before and did not want to drink ice cream so I opted for the hot version, which wasn’t very nice. For what it’s worth it’s a nice feel inside and the staff were friendly. I guess I’ll be finding the nearest big chain next time. What a shame.

I just wish they would sweep the pavement where the tables and chairs are ,and the entrance ,it's busy

I was working in Longton few weeks ago and popped in here for a coffee what can I say! One of the best ever coffees I've ever had! Really well bodied smooth lovely aroma highly recommend this place

Don't go in on a Tuesday...staff ignore you..went in at 3ish one staff member washing up and the other dropping coffee remnants on her foot then talking about her girlfriend who will give her a massage at home later on!! No recognition totally ignored...I don't want to hear about her private life just wanted a coffee..hanley better staff and on the ball. Very poor.

Visited this coffee house a few times before and no issue but my visit today led to very poor quality flat white coffee compared all other branches especially Hanley. Disappointed hope they can improve as they've been a lot better previously.

Extremely enjoyable experience. We as a family go to the coffee house 2 or 3 times a week. The staff are very friendly. The shop is spotless and the service is excellent. I would recommend a visit to all our friends. Keep up the excellent work.

I’ve been going to the coffee house since it’s been opened on most Saturdays, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and tidy. I love the tea cakes it’s a must on our mum n daughter shopping dates for brunch. Vicky is fantastic and my daughter loves it when she is working , she will even run back into the coffee house to show what she got with her pocket money.

Never been here before, so thought I'd give it a try. All started off well. Until I went to chase up where my brownie was, I asked this big women serving coffee to check, she growled at me and went have you got a receipt. I said no, but I can tell you what I've ordered and you'll be able to see via your till system. She then snapped and went ill have to make sure you paid for it! So I told her what I ordered and how much it came to. She asked the guy who served me he said he'd forgotten, she was very nice to him. And then looked at me and said there you go! I then asked the same lady not long after if the toilets were in use. She pointed at them and went clearly. I'm sorry but I work in retail and her attitude was shocking! She needs to sort her manner out. Especially for a grown women!

Nice coffee, is just over £4 for a large cappuccino which is abit steap but standard nowadays. Service speed can vary, limited by 1 coffee machine.

Really do like this Chain, this particular location is good as it's never too busy. Can have the odd obnoxious individual given it's location, but it's easily the best Cafe in the town. Food is very good, the coffee is a crowd pleaser, stays away from being pretentious. Always clean and tidy, right next to a car park, reasonable prices.

Love this coffee shop, it's just what Longton needed. It's a shame that the shopping centre is virtually empty, most of the shops have closed down.

We called in this morning for a coffee and sandwich. Really busy with customers, staff working flat . All smiles and still delivering excellent customer service, well done ladies you smashed it. Food and coffee and a cheeky slice of cake all amazing.

Didn't eat, just a quick cuppa, the hot chocolate was awful,almost zero chocolate, was like hot milk.

Instantly a highlight of a desperate town, delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices

This coffee shop just wasn't for me. Stopped in here to get a coffee (mocha) to go. I got a medium, they asked if I wanted cream and marshmallows and I thought 'sure why not.' Well, afterwards I realized the price of cream amd marshmallows (not even many, BTW)(don't remember exact price) made the medium coffee more expensive than a large coffee (with no cream and marshmallows, of course). Just seems overpriced for what it is. After taking it and tasting it, it was unfortunately not very good, not sweet at all, and was quite bland. More expensive than other coffees with hardly any taste.

I visit here 3 times a week the staff are friendly and efficient there is a good choice of food and drinks and it is spacious ans clean love it

Went to this coffee shop for the first time the other day, normally I go Costa in Longton next. I must say, I was impressed! The staff were friendly and attentive and my large latte was soon made. Since it was a nice day, I sat in outside and watched the world go by. The drink was excellent. Just the same as Costa! And it was slightly cheaper. If you are ever in Longton please give this coffee shop a try, you won’t be disappointed.

So we all know how awful Longton has become, but there's glimmers of hope, this coffee shop is one of them. Stylish, fabulous service and a lovely atmosphere. Also incredibly clean and so are the toilets

I absolutely adore this coffee house it's vibrant, friendly, comfortable, inside there is couch & table seating aswell table and chair seating, it has a wonderful covered outside seating space which also welcomes Smokers! All foods are in-house prepared and delivered daily, the teas are all loose teas and served in pots , a selection of alternative milks and vegan foods, today I sampled the falafel salad which was fantastic & my daughter sampled rhe chicken ceaser salad both were lovely a cost of £4.20 eat in is £4.95 which isn't a grumble when the quality is of service and food is good, the staff are lovely friendly even when run off their feet. The coffee shop is ground floor and accessible to wheelchairs spacious and clean there are 2 large toilets I've never entered a dirty one there, it's fantastic to see how much people are using this it really has generated a wonderful community enriching Longton, i only wish I had photos of the meals ..next time!!

What a lovely coffee shop. The decor is stylish and calming. The coffee was delicious and we had a toasted teacake too which was excellent. The big panoramic windows are great for sitting enjoying your coffee and watching the world go by. We loved the outside seating too. Highly recommended if you are in the Longton Market Square area. We will definitely be regular visitors! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Called in for a cold drink whilst out shopping. Had a mango cooler and it was lovely. I didn't have food so I can't comment on that

My girlfriend ordered for us but I had to nip out to move the car- when I came back in, the girl who had served us re-made my cappuccino so that it was hot (without us asking) 😀 really great customer service. They also do loose leaf tea which is a real bonus as not many places do.

Great modern quality coffee shop. Just what the town needs. Staff are friendly and service is always good. Really like the coffee and they have a good range of food and cakes which is above the usual coffee chains quality. Really like the interior which reflects the local area. Lot's of outdoor seating as well. Have been lots of times and everything is always consistent.

First time yesterday,I have to say I was disappointed the sausage was well awful it was stretchy and like rubber,the coffee was so small for a medium cappuccino, totally expensive for a size like that,won't be returning.

I called into The Coffee Shop for the first time and it was lovely. A smart and welcoming interior, and great staff. The coffee and croissants couldn't be nicer.

Absolutely brilliant. Quality is fantastic and the customer service is second to none. It's so nice to go in to a place that actually sees you as a person and spends time to talk to you rather than just being £££ walking through the door. Will definitely be our go to place when in town.

Visited today at 16.50 store closes at18.00hrs staff more interested in turning the lights off,and talking about their relationships Than serving you coffee good though.

Our second time coming here and they have one of the best services you could imagine. I made the mistake of ordering the wrong drink for the misses, and although I was at fault, they replaced it for us free of charge.

Came with my mum and brother today we tried the coffee milkshakes and a few cakes and they were incredible 😋 I usually go costa but now this place is here I probably won't be going there again, reasonably priced and a great selection of snacks and treats, and the man who served me was so friendly and polite and the place looks fab.

Loud music could hardly hear ourselves speak both my friend & I had a pot of tea & ended up with tea leaves in our cups not nice & a slice of Victoria sandwich which cost £12.30 & tables too small for 2 people wouldn't go again.

We visited on opening day. Lovely coffee house, good decor and outdoor seating. Table we sat at was too small for 2 lunch plates and pots of tea, but there are some larger at the back, the small tables really just for coffee and cake. Staff were efficient and friendly, service good. The food was quite limited we thought, mainly for a snack. Prices are as you would expect. This is a good addition to the Longton Precinct.
