We had lovely meal, definitely recommend. Look forward to going again.

We went to the Rose and Crown today and was met by Jo the owner whom went above and beyond to accommodate me last minute for a party of 18 of us. I only decided last minute to sort a lunch meal out and Jo helped me to do just that. The food and the service was beautiful. Sue and Co waited on us and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend here and will go again 😉

The food was excellent service very friendly but entrance for disabled very poor had to go around back of building adjacent bins steep ramp, no ramp on double doors to restaurant had to be lifted over, think breaking the law on disability rules,will not go again until dramatic improvements made ,shame

Staff excellent with good service food was good quality and plenty of it at a good price we had the lunchtime special £19.99 for two courses a very good ambiance I can’t see why people add such negative feedback they must have been having a bad day.

Beautiful country pub/restaurant in a lovely rural backwater setting. Visited on a very busy Sunday afternoon which had a great buzz about it. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Food was great and clearly homemade. Prices were not too bad, but you do get what you pay for!. We had food and drinks including wine and coffee.

AVOID!! Called in for a Sunday dinner while passing to be told by the front of house member of staff that they are not excepting walk ins only bookings. Strange that it does not mention that on the website? Also loads of tables were empty? i would of not minded waiting for a table but that was not an option. I will never eat in this place again and will also be telling all friends and family about it amazes me that restaurant’s are struggling in these times but are happy to turn away walk in customers. So best avoid this place and find somewhere that will be happy to take your business. AVOID!!

Took advantage again of this great Wednesday night offer of Dine for Two for £40 incl wine. This was our fourth time as a party of four and on each occasion we have all chosen different starters and mains. And we've never been disappointed, good portions, well prepared and presented by friendly professional staff. Keep the offer going and we'll keep coming back.
