Took advantage again of this great Wednesday night offer of Dine for Two for £40 incl wine. This was our fourth time as a party of four and on each occasion we have all chosen different starters and mains. And we've never been disappointed, good portions, well prepared and presented by friendly professional staff. Keep the offer going and we'll keep coming back.

Took up the Wednesday offer of £20pp, for 2 courses, which includes a bottle of wine. Sat in the conservatory with our dog. Great value and service.

Another great meal again at Ego this time to celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. Great food and ambience in a packed restaurant where staff and diners had a smile on their faces during our 90 minute stay. Thanks very much see you soon.

Lovely food. Great service by a young lady called Layla( the young lady who has several jobs to get her to uni ) She was efficient and chatty and kept herself busy throughout. Best service we’ve had for a while here. . The food and ambience is always lovely BUT the service lets it down at times. But today’s visit was great. Thank you

We have visited this restaurant many times but this last visit topped the lot! The food was fabulous value (an offer that included free wine!) , The food was tasty, plentiful and very well cooked. We were served by super friendly attentive staff and the experience was a quality one.

This is a popular modern restaurant rather than a traditional country pub. It has an open kitchen and a large and varied food menu to suit all tastes. The service was good and the food was of good quality. We ate off the lunch menu which was excellent value for money. I would certainly recommend a visit to the Hollybush.

Great place to celebrate birthdays, anniversary's etc... never had an issue here which is great as it is fairly local.

Called tonight, food was fantastic, the restaurant was very busy and we didn’t book so no seating available but we were asked if we would like to sit outside, we had no idea that there was a wasp nest outside in the seating area but the staff did, after spending £60 on drinks and food and swiping wasps all night, wasn’t the night we expected, hopefully next time the staff will advise if you sit outside be careful as you will be swamped with wasps....

Went for a lunchtime meal during the lovely not summer. Very busy place with lots of visitors, good menu with lots of options. Good choice with different size meals available in some options. Seating available all around the building with shelter and seating available indoor too. Vast variety of beers, wines and spirits Would definitely recommend a visit

A good choice of food and drinks with special menus and deals on cocktails - although you need to check times. Food was delicious. Very tasty. Customer service was very good, as was the ambiance. No coffee available at the end of our meal due to the machine being broken.

I went for a birthday meal there on Monday 19th Feb but wish I hadn't with hindsight. We had booked so we told them on arrival that we were there. A lady told us that the other people were just paying the Bill and then they'd call us in. She never did. She didn't record our arrival or fetch us. We were forgotten. We went after another lady so we had to wait all over again. Eventually we were led to a table in a sort of conservatory. We had menus and ordered food and drinks. We got this round of drinks, but our food came 2 hours after our arrival. We were served at 9.30pm with our dinner. Mine was morrocan lamb and cous cous which was all dried up, with slices of pitta bread which were black on the underside and cold. The desserts were nothing special. I have bought nicer tiramisu from Tesco for £2. The service was terrible. There were lots of celebrations going on and the place was quite full. They seem to have overbooked as the kitchen seemed unable to cope or couldn't care. I complained to the manager who offered me a free meal which he said he would email to me that night. However although we all gave our email addresses written down, I have not had any communication from him at all. I spent my birthday hungry, frustrated and disappointed.

Hi we went there for dinner one evening, it is a very noisy restaurant which was not too good, the meals turned up at different times and I noticed a lot of the meals were left on the counter for a long time until I am assuming a manager turned up and sorted item out. The food was good but the experience was poor, I probably would not return. I did notice that a lot of the staff were very young and maybe they need more management. I would say that overall the service was of a very poor standard and let's the place down.
