The best restaurants in Central Redditch West Midlands

I have dined at many of the Indian restaurants in Redditch with most being average at best. Last night we stumbled across this one. The waiter was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He laughed and joked with us and suggested we try a couple of dishes. We took his advice and had the most amazing Royal Tawa dish. The flavours were fantastic. We will definitely be going back soon and I think The Candle Night will now be our go to Indian in Redditch.

Such lovely staff here. Store is meticulously cleaned. There are queues but enough staff to get the queue down quickly. Occasionally all tables are full but soon as vacated quickly cleared for the next customer to use. The toilets are usually pristine and cleaned regularly. Store manageress is very friendly chirpy and works very hard. All staff are warm welcoming & always happy to have a chat with various customers. All the food is fresh and heated to perfection. Obviously it’s costa so you don’t get a side salad with your toastie which would be nice but that’s a head office Costa thing. Overall the staff work hard, they are proactive and don’t leave me eye rolling in disbelief like other branches have. Each staff member is a credit to the branch and a great team.

The lunch special on Thursday/Saturdays is full of flavor and variety. I recommend getting extra naan or rice to sop up the many delicious sauces. You'll want to eat every bite.

We visit this Cafe often and have never had cause for complaint. Unfortunately, Saturday 3rd. May changed this, My Husband and I took our Granddaughter for brunch, It wasn't busy at all so we thought it wouldn't take long, We waited over half an hour for the food which we could accept as you have to allow for this sometimes. We ordered brunch with bread and butter and when it arrived we asked for vinegar, we waited and waited and half way through our meal we had to ask a passing waiter again, moments later the waiter, a person with red/black hair came over with the vinegar and plonked it on the table as the waiter turned to leave , My husband asked if he could swap one the crust of bread (as neither of us like the crust) for a normal bread, The waiter literally turned round without the crust and walked of shaking their head on the way, and then never returned, It was rude and disrespectful and will certainly make us think twice before going there again.

Always seem to come here and the par 5 breakfast as seen in the picture is amazing! I did have to take off Tom's and fried bread but that's just my preference. The whole breakfast is just so nice and affordable. I also have had there homemade cookies they were amazing bring them back everyday 😋

The food was absolutely amazing here, we tried a couple of baltis and a tandoori mixed grill between us and it was all excellent. Not sure on the mint/balsamic dressing you get with the poppadoms though. The service was good, although not massively attentive, it took some effort to attract the attention of a server a couple of times as they were congregated around the reception. Overall well worth a visit for the quality of the food, we would go again.

Great staff ,9 hole golf course and wonderful food too.

Status delivered, but where? I thought that code needs to be exchange for food.

Absolutely shocking service, ordered 45 mins before they closed for them to tell me 45 mins later that they have no delivery driver, waited all that time for nothing, asked for a refund of almost £35 and told me I had to wait till tomorrow… very poor service with incompetence and rude staff

Great takeaway. Very reasonably priced and delivered quicker than expected. The food was very tasty with large portions. It was hot when delivered and the delivery driver was friendly.

Came to this hotel for 1 night was checking out for 2 pm and the cleaners kept coming in even though they was told we was checking out later. The bed was just 2 single beds pushed together and was uncomfortable. And the hairdryer didn’t work. Would go to a different place next time. Food was good tho (:

Thought we'd try something new. First impressions, was very busy but found a table quickly, great atmosphere friendly staff, super fast service. Food came really quick and thats where in got interesting everything looked 1980s my jalferzi was bright yellow and had supermarket mixed veg in, the chicken was well cooked but had very little taste for tikka, my pilau rice had mixed veg in and my Naan seemed shop brought and was cold and hard. For the price, it was very disappointing. Great as a pub, but as a curry house needs some work.
