ok so read a review about the best keema naan they ever had so popped in to grab a couple of naans tonight as i was cooking my own indian at home, i ordered to take away a keema naan and a peshwari naan! i can honestly say they were the two worst naans i have ever had especially for the price too, keema naan £4.25!! peshwari £4, these were like 2 naans from the supermarket, there was a tiny almost see through layer inbetween a tiny rubbery excuse for a naan i had ever seen and the peshwari was just burnt and the same, was planning to visit for a sit down meal to try this place with the family but will certainly not be now. poor

Bland food with no taste and poor ingredients.

Delivery time was great. Food wasn’t as good as usual! Chips were very fatty tasting!

Was recommend this place (as usual takeaway was closed for the day) and have absolutely no idea why. Worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had! Chicken wasn’t breast meat . Some kind of fake kebab / thigh rubber meat . cheap and vile. Sauces bland and watery. Nans were not Nan breads ! Tasteless and in all a total waste and most of it went in the bin as inedible! Nothing like a proper Indian takeaway. Not sure if this is trying to be a cheap pub grub place , bar, grill or indian restaurant ! It fails on every level. Awful . Won’t be returning.

The Queens Head is consistently good. The best Indian food we’ve tried in the area.I just wish they would package the papadums better, as they are usually broken. Today they were badly broken as they’d been put in the plastic bag standing up. Perhaps a small pizza box.

This place is a gem service exceptional food amazing

food is absolutely beautiful. the only issue is the price of a portion of plain rice. £3.50 is a bit steep for rice.

Everything fine but the Sagwala - it wasn’t like any Sagwala I’ve ever had. Everything else I’ve had from there though is tasty and hot and fresh. This Sagwala was thick and gloopy and barely had any taste.

Daal makhni and paneer was fresh warm but vegetable was smelly. Potatoes were smelly. Disappointed with mixed vegetables. Not expected with Queen head bar.

This place was recommended to me from a friend and it didn’t disappoint. I had the lamb and mushroom balti and chips. Lamb was so tender, and the balti sauce was tasty. The chips were crispy ( not soggy like you usually get them in the bag). Food was on time, and the delivery driver was polite and friendly. Would recommend :)

Biryani was literally just chicken, rice and onion, sauce was just curry sauce and more onion. Every biryani I've had previously included at least a few vegetables. On top of that, it was just bland, tasted almost of nothing. Awful, never again.

There was no option for giving my review on a take away but this is my review from a curry i ordered on the 21/6/24. I have been to the pub and had a curry before and it was spot on so i thought it would be the same when i ordered one through Just Eat but sadly it wasn't to be . Prawn Balti with rice and naan bread arrived nice and hot and looked very appetising but the Balti was very salty and would now make me think twice before having takeaway from here again . Inside the pub 8/10 takeaway 3/10

Food was ABSOLUTELY delicious! It was hot and tasty and perfectly cooked. I haven't had such a good meal for ages and I will happily order again in the future! Big Thank You to chefs for making my day <3 I cherish you! There was also a small delivery mishap, but it was due to very tricky location of my home, not the driver's fault. The driver was a patient angel during communication and navigation through phone. Give the lad a rise, he deserves it. Thank you! <3

Food arrived hot and on time. I asked for mild spice level on 2 of the curry’s and they were still quite spicy. The dishes were also quite salty so it masked the spices in the curries and did nothing in terms of flavour. Disappointing.

Lovely looking pub inside, staff very attentive, the food wasn't exactly what I would visually expect from an Indian restaurant in appearance however it was a really tasty meal. More than happy to eat there again.

Superb. Food was spot on, mixed grill portions are big, great for sharing if you have sides with it. Very nice venue, staff are friendly, pints are decent, price is reasonable and the footys usually on. What more can you ask for?

We ordered the masala ‘fries’ and the lamb and mushroom balti. The masala spices were lovely, but the chips were a bit thick, probably would have been better on fries rather than chips. But the Balti was amazing! So much lamb, the spices were perfect and it was very tasty! Really recommended!

Visiting the area and called in on the off chance. Staff really friendly and went out their way to help. Great atmosphere, very clean and tidy. Meal was absolutely lovely and reasonably priced

Had a takeaway tonight it was the worst I have ever tasted. The pakora was dry with soggy batter, 2 onion bhaji in a container that had soggy salad on the bottom which maid the pakora really very soggy and spicy but no taste to go with. 2 currys chicken tikka masala and 1 butter chicken both very oily and not so sure why they were spicy. Rice was hard and clumpy with lumps of egg and salty. For over £42 definitely won't be having another takeaway from here very disappointing.

Loved this place as something fresh in Redditch. Our food was delayed due to it being miss served, but the table enjoyed it and ours was recooked and was pleased with the free drink for the inconvenience. The mixed grill was great as was the lamb plus plenty of it. Nice to see a large selection of fish on the menu.

Charged 1.99 service charge which is silly, but due to good reviews went ahead, Had 3 different currys that arrived with the same sauce on them just different main ingredients, All spicy which was not ordered, the peshwari naan had no filling at all, it was more like a butter roti, will never order from here again, disgusting food that ended up in the bin

Insanely good curry, this curry was next level especially for a takeaway. It looked great and tasted better. My wife normally just picks at a curry but this one was that good she had the lot. Very fast delivery and I cannot fault it. If you are looking for a cheap curry don't order from here but I can assure you it's worth every penny. Recommend the chicken tikka massala and the lamb rogon josh.

Ordered one of the 'off with your head' spicy currys, it wasnt spicy at all, just an abnormal amount of onion, tasted like water. Tikkas are always delicious.

I've got to write a review about the Naan !! It was absolutely perfect, the best I've ever tasted! Overall the meal was superb. Always have a beautiful from here. Couldn't fault it yet again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dropped in for a drink. Wish we hadn't. Uninspiring choice of beer, had a Guinness and a lager, both were pretty awful. Food looked OK. Strange atmosphere in the place, neither a bar or a restaurant, could have done with dimming the very bright lights a bit. Lots of kids on the rampage. Darts on the telly that nobody was watching. I think the sound was off. Weird, won't be rushing back.

The venue was clean and fresh. The bar staff was friendly and quick service. We pre booked our seats via the phone, and on reception, our table was clean and ready. You do have to order at the counter which can be abit long winded rather than having table service. The food was smashing. Great taste and value. I would definitely recommend it. Staff always give tables a good clean down after customers leave

This is the 1st time I have been to The Queens Head Bar and Grill and I will definitely be returning. The refurbishment the place has gone through is very good. The entrance feels grand and the bar looks very clean and inviting. We went on a Friday evening and there wasn't a spare table so I suggest you book at peak times. After being seated you do all of your drink ordering and food order at the bar at your convenience, I really liked this method as I never felt I had to wait for a busy waitress/waiter to come to me. You can pay when you order or set up a tab for the night which was great for splitting a bill. It was busy when we ordered at 8pm and we were told it would be a 45 minute (which I think is more than acceptable) but the food actually came after 10 minutes! All of the staff were friendly and I felt a real 'family' vibe The food was superb. I highly recommend the Grills. Having your food come out on a sizzling skillet adds to the theatrics but also means your food is hot! It was all very tasty. All 4 of meals were tasty and portions sizes were good. I will go again and will be recommending to friends and family 👍🏻

Delivery driver Didn’t ring the bell left outside our house and only realised because it said ‘delivered’ on just eat! Absolutely ridiculous!

Cost of the meal has gone up since last order, and the quantity reduced which is a shame as was good value for money before, not so much now.

A friend of mine recommended using this place for a takeaway, and I am very pleased we took his advice. The food arrived hot and fresh in quick time and was delivered by a friendly driver. The quality of the food was amazing and it was obvious their chef uses very high quality ingredients. The freshly cooked poppadoms seemed larger than the norm and they were accompanied by a lovely assortment of high quality chutneys & dips. Our Tandoori grilled mains were all delicately spiced and delicious. They were all very generous portion sizes and came with crispy fresh salad. We also had a portion of cheesey chips which were also great. The Tandoori fish melted in the mouth, the paneer tikka was delightful too. The only small thing I would mention was they use chicken thigh for the tandoori chicken and not chicken breast. I know this is probably because thighs don’t dry out in the Tandoor like a breast can, but my other half said he’d ask if they could use chicken breast next time instead (he prefers the texture). It was a great meal and we will definitely use them again.
