The best balti in stoke without a doubt 5 stars everytime the ingredients are fresh and I would never go anywhere else I've been going there for over 35 years they are perfection

Lovely tea and a lovely pudding.Staff are friendly and helpful. Cosy place and very clean and lots of choice where you would like to sit.

This is a huge thank you to the staff last night . My daughter was in a first data from hell . She felt extremely uncomfortable and scared then one of bar staff member came to my daughter and help her get home safely . I absolutely dread to think what would have happened if they hadn’t.

We would like to think that we are curry connoisseurs 😜. Been to a lot of different restaurants. We moored up near the harecastle tunnel and decided to pop into kidsgrove for a curry. We were recommended Arena by a customer that was standing outside. We took a chance and it was a good decision. Karen was brilliant and the food was fantastic. The lamb was so tender, fresh cauliflower in the bhaji and the channawalla was so tasty. Would thoroughly recommend. Unfortunately we were early and the restaurant was empty so I can’t give a great review on the atmosphere.

Very friendly pub, we were on a weekend break in the area from Durham, karaoke was really good and everyone spoke to us or acknowledged us,reasonably priced drinks, we will definitely visit again 👌

Really fabulous (lamb) steak on nan and vegetable kebab and pitta. A lovely friendly pair cooking and serving too. We'll be back!

Been using forbidden city for 9 years now but the last 3 take aways ordered have been well below what we would expect. I can accept a one off poor delivery but yesterday was 3 poor deliveries on the trot. Not only was the food poor quality but we pre ordered 2,5 hours in advance for a specified delivery time & it was 35 minutes late. So that’s the last time we will be using forbidden city.

Excellent pizza and service. Give this place a try. We were caught short on taxi and the owner very kindly gave us a lift home. Thank you.

Food came food was cold, very little sauce in the currys and onion chutney was very dry compared to usual 😞

Terrible kebab ordered the small chicken one for 8 pounds didnt think it would be that small but it was legit just chicken and bread with some sauce not to mention the wait time 15 minutes for a chicken kebab is unreal especially for such a crappy kebab would honestly want my money back it was so bad.

So nice to goto a proper traditional pub, sit by a real fire and drink well kept ale. Friendly staff and a dog to talk to.

Food inedible. Far far far far too much salt!!!! I’m not sure what it is with Chinese takeaways in the area, but the one in Alsager is exactly the same. Maybe owned by the same people?

Put a collection order through on my phone when we left the cinema,took about 15 Mins to get to the shop. Greeted by a lovely lady,polite and friendly,told her my order number and gave her my money,she gave me my change then said 5 minutes,please sit. The food came out packed lovely. Got home literally round the corner,food was fresh as if I had just cooked it. Curry sauce is gorgeous with consistency and spice level,king prawn balls done to order,plain omelette soft,seasoned lovely,didn’t need any extra help. Really enjoyed the meal.3rd time we have had and will be returning. A1 service,food and speed to cook. Very Highly recommended Chinese in Kidsgrove.

Honestly the delivery man was the best part and im sure staff are lovely. Forgot my redbull, offered one next time which was kind but wont be ordering there again. Ordered a burger and chips, genuinely cant explain more to you how horribly dry and rubbery the burger was, chips were cold and stodgy. Not just that, ordered a donut and was met with what tasted like a hard sponge soaked in sugar. Have never had a takeaway as expensive but horrible as that, seems like they make the food at the start of the week and use that🤢

Been a while so thought would try again , food just horrible , frozen chips that stick in your throat , all dishes we’re so full of sugar and a cloying fat it made us sick , never again
