This was my first visit to Herefordshire and I popped in (upon the recommendation of a friend) because I was staying nearby. When I walked through the door, I received the warmest of welcomes and the atmosphere and decor was very cosy - not to mention the amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. I was greeted by the owners - who were exceptionally nice and we chatted as if we'd known each other for much, much longer. As it was raining outside, I ordered a coffee and cheese and potato soup which came with a cheese scone. So tasty!!! I decided to take my laptop out and get a bit of work done...two hours later, I was still there. The wifi was fantastic and fast. Over the course of my visit, several locals popped in - some ordered food; others just relaxed. The Huddle Hub is a place I would recommend for locals and visitors alike!

Another great weekend In Leintwardine! We enjoyed our meal Friday night and the Sunday dinner. The staff are very nice and friendly and the food was delicious! Plentiful and such a nice atmosphere. We travel from North Wales and always visit this pub restaurant. Sitting by the river it’s so beautiful

Most people think nothing of going to a chip shop and ordering whatever they fancy. For a coeliac, this is unknown. Going to the Fiddler's Elbow made gluten free feel like the normal option rather than the tagged on 'well we can do gluten free on the third Tuesday of the month if there's a full moon and Geoff hasn't got a day off'. The battered fish was lovely - light, not greasy. The chips are lovely. The chicken selection pieces are generous. The curry sauce is dark and spicy. The onion rings we had were so enormous they only just fitted in the box. THANK YOU, Fiddler's Elbow, for making me feel normal with such lovely food!

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.

Great place to eat and stay. I stayed for one night as I was working in the local area. Room was small but lovely, evening meal was delicious and a great choice of food for breakfast. Would 100% recommend.

We had dinner here last Thursday and I can honestly say this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I chose the cured trout followed by the duck and made the bold choice of blue cheese ice cream, which was a revelation. The individual flavours of the vegetables and sauces.are so distinctive.

A real find. If you are in the area it’s a definite must visit. Traditional pub with good selection of beers. It was hot beef baguettes with roast potato’s and gravy on the menu the day we visited with was simply the best I have ever had. Staff are super friendly as are the locals. We could have stayed all day…
