One of our favourite 'go to' spots for afternoon refreshments on a weekend. The staff are very friendly and can highly recommend their smoothies and/or cream teas! The animals outside are a great added bonus too, especially if you have kids... Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

This was my first visit to Herefordshire and I popped in (upon the recommendation of a friend) because I was staying nearby. When I walked through the door, I received the warmest of welcomes and the atmosphere and decor was very cosy - not to mention the amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. I was greeted by the owners - who were exceptionally nice and we chatted as if we'd known each other for much, much longer. As it was raining outside, I ordered a coffee and cheese and potato soup which came with a cheese scone. So tasty!!! I decided to take my laptop out and get a bit of work done...two hours later, I was still there. The wifi was fantastic and fast. Over the course of my visit, several locals popped in - some ordered food; others just relaxed. The Huddle Hub is a place I would recommend for locals and visitors alike!

I absolutely love being in this place and it has a beautifully calm feel. However I am totally astonished by the dolls-house size servings for lunch- at normal lunch prices. I almost asked them if they hadn’t accidentally given me a kiddie’s portion - for a cheaper price- as for over £9 I got two slices of delicious small rye toast, about 7 very small lettuce leaves, 4 olives and a small pot of delicious dip. All very tasty but absolutely not a main course. I know I these are locally sourced ingredients but this felt really wrong. I will definitely return for post lunch coffees but will make sure to eat somewhere else where I can fuel up for lunch before hand.

Great place to eat and stay. I stayed for one night as I was working in the local area. Room was small but lovely, evening meal was delicious and a great choice of food for breakfast. Would 100% recommend.

A real find. If you are in the area it’s a definite must visit. Traditional pub with good selection of beers. It was hot beef baguettes with roast potato’s and gravy on the menu the day we visited with was simply the best I have ever had. Staff are super friendly as are the locals. We could have stayed all day…

Third time we have returned for our bi-annual reunion and the Riverside just gets better and better. George and his team of staff are dedicated to making guests feel welcome and comfortable, nothing is too much trouble. As three couples who have been friends for close to 50 years, we love returning here at Christmas time. The food is exceptional! Fresh Herefordshire produce cooked to perfection. The bar is comfortable with a wonderful dual sided log burner. The beer is exceptional and the atmosphere thoroughly warming and welcoming. The service couldn’t be better. We have already booked for December 2025 😁. If you read this George, a heartfelt thank you, please also thank your great team of staff. Xante
