This was my first visit to Herefordshire and I popped in (upon the recommendation of a friend) because I was staying nearby. When I walked through the door, I received the warmest of welcomes and the atmosphere and decor was very cosy - not to mention the amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. I was greeted by the owners - who were exceptionally nice and we chatted as if we'd known each other for much, much longer. As it was raining outside, I ordered a coffee and cheese and potato soup which came with a cheese scone. So tasty!!! I decided to take my laptop out and get a bit of work done...two hours later, I was still there. The wifi was fantastic and fast. Over the course of my visit, several locals popped in - some ordered food; others just relaxed. The Huddle Hub is a place I would recommend for locals and visitors alike!

If we could give it 10 stars out of 5, we would. We went in there expecting the classic pub food, but we were so wrong. The food is delicious, close to fine dining more than pub. We had the vegetarian options, and the flavours were amazing. To take something as simple as veggie bangers and mash with gravy and make it taste so delicious requires some proper talent. The mash was from real potatoes, the gravy was made there with some red wine as one of the ingredients. The chef is very charismatic and passionate. He spent time explaining his cooking to us and how he's evolved the recipes and told us about the history of the place. And everyone else was so friendly. We loved the experience and it will definitely be a place we'll stop by whenever we go through the area.

Good value, large portions (there was nothing small about the small cod and small chips), freshly cooked, hot, friendly service, lots of seating inside and out.

Came to go to the bookstore which was stated as open. Spoke to the rudest woman when I calling to ask if they were open as we had arrived. Was told they aren't open - my partner had gone into the pub to enquire while I called and say the shitty face she was pulling while on the phone. Great customer service - not. Kindly advised her it might be a good shout to update their open hours on Google and was told they're open on Thursday... 4 days away and that it wasn't exactly long to wait. Thanks. We'd not driven over an hour to come and look in the store.. Absolute disgrace.
