This was my first visit to Herefordshire and I popped in (upon the recommendation of a friend) because I was staying nearby. When I walked through the door, I received the warmest of welcomes and the atmosphere and decor was very cosy - not to mention the amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. I was greeted by the owners - who were exceptionally nice and we chatted as if we'd known each other for much, much longer. As it was raining outside, I ordered a coffee and cheese and potato soup which came with a cheese scone. So tasty!!! I decided to take my laptop out and get a bit of work done...two hours later, I was still there. The wifi was fantastic and fast. Over the course of my visit, several locals popped in - some ordered food; others just relaxed. The Huddle Hub is a place I would recommend for locals and visitors alike!

Such a comfortable, welcoming place to stay for the night. Breakfast was really delicious, the white table cover and beautiful cloth napkins were a lovely touch!

Beautiful setting, great service, amazing food. Just lacked atmosphere as it was quiet and not very busy. Would highly recommend though and would certainly visit again!

Very pleasantly surprised by the food here, so I felt compelled to write a review. We have popped in quite a few times for a pint, but never for food until yesterday. The atmosphere in the pub is very sweet and cosy with fires going when it's chilly. Good real ales on tap and the bar staff have always been friendly. The food though... we were very impressed! Really tasty, properly comforting pub food, all home made and with local ingredients too! 4 of us eating, two with quite specific dietary requirements but were catered for really well. This was the only place in Kington where we could find a good selection of gluten free options! The chef came out of the kitchen to check everything was okay, talking us through some of the dishes as we were choosing and ask how the food was. He seems genuinely passionate about his food, taking pride in how he tweaks the recipes each time - this was lovely to see. If I was to nitpick, the dining room doesn't have quite the same cosy atmosphere as the main part of the pub, so some tweaking is required here. That being said, this place is truly a real gem that is worth your visit and we will definitely be eating here next time we're in town.
