Lovely staff, lovely cakes, lovely atmosphere - nothing else needs saying. Can get busy with cyclists sometimes but always somewhere to sit. Just a delight.

This is the second time that we have eaten in The Ballroom restaurant at Hoar Cross Hall Like any restaurant, all three of the crucial elements need to be right for it to be considered exceptional, the food, the ambiance and the quality of the service The Ballroom at Hoar Cross Hall cannot be faulted, excellent food, beautifully prepared and presented, served by charming, attentive and knowledgeable staff in a magnificent setting

Decided to stop off at this little pub for a spot of lunch in the 'snug/bar area' before our planned spa retreat. What a treat!! Absolutely gorgeous place that oozes charm with such a warm and friendly atmosphere and welcome. Meals were so delicious and the cocktails were amazing too. If you are in the area or fancy a drive to a beautiful location with plenty of stunning walking spots then give this place a try. You definitely won't be dissapointed 😊

My husband and myself decided to have a drive out and have lunch at this venue. We had a lovely welcome. Two young ladies with lovely smiles. We opted for the fixed price lunch menu. My husband had the local butcher's sausage on mash and lovely fresh veg. He also had lovely leek and potato soup for a starter with warm bread. To start I had prawn cocktail which was really nice again with warm bread and butter. My main was the mini fish pie and veg. Well it's wasn't very mini. It was beautiful. We had a side of home made onion rings. Just lovely. The whole thing from start to finish was thoroughly enjoyed by us. Definitely worth the trip out from Stonnall. Thank you ladies for your lovely service and chef for beautiful food. We will be back. We can't recommend the Forester's highly enough.

I can honestly say the food we had today was absolutely beautiful. We had starters, prawns and scotch eggs, and the trio of meats for Sunday lunch and a beef Sunday lunch. It was amazing. There was no room left for pudding, which is OK because we'll just have to visit again sometime 😀 We got served quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive, getting all requests spot on. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back 👍

Visited Hoar Cross Hall for lunch in Henry’s The restaurant is lovely warm and welcoming . The staff were attentive and the food lovely . Great experience and a big thanks to Michelle for looking after us so well.

Lovely staff, food good for chain pub, good pricing, all in all worth a visit if you want reasonable food on a budget, nice atmosphere too

Room was absolutely freezing. Asked numerous times for the heating to be put on but Billy failed to turn it on. Will never return.
