The best restaurants in Crown East Staffordshire West Midlands

When we stay at St Georges Park, England training ground - this is where we go for an evening meal. The food is delicious, the hospitality is brilliant and the beer from the microbrewery is fabulous. If we could run a pipe from the microbrewery to St Georges our stay would be perfect. I would recommend a visit and to book your table. We ate quite late due to matches and training and the home made pizzas were all gobbled up but any food on the menu is recommended. There is a problem easily accessing the web site but don't be deterred.

We went to celebrate my birthday with a large group. Miller was extremely kind, quick and courteous. Wonderful atmosphere and the food and drinks were great!

Once again a Beautiful one night's stay at the Boars Head. Yet again made perfect not only by the great place and great food, but the Staff, not a few, but every single one of them are just so brilliant, so friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely people. Combine all this and I don't know how it could be made any better. It's just perfect. 😃

Used to be my go to Indian restaurant. We were told it's busy you will have to wait twenty minutes, about 30 -40 minutes later we were seated. there were only a table of 8 and maybe another table of 6. Hardly what I would call busy. The food was pretty average. Mine was ok but the other 2 curries we had barely tasted of much probably the blandest currys I've tasted. The samosas were tiny as well and 2 seemed a very small starter. It felt like the guy waiting on was doing almost everything and I wouldn't be surprised if he was helping cook in the kitchen. So disappointed because this used to be such a great curry house and I definitely wouldn't visit again

Having worked at Hoar cross hall for the last three months and visiting the Lancaster cafe every day cannot recommend this hidden gem any more than the 5 stars it has. Tina Janet and Trouble! Yay ! This hidden gem has now reopened again ‼️ being newish to the area this was our first time here and it was the Best Indian meal that I’ve ever had , Presentation so nice , flavours of everything was spot on and the chicken just melts in ya mouth . You can tell this chef cooks with passion . The service was excellent And Sam was a really nice friendly guy , Thank you for a lovely evening, We’ll be back real soon if we can get in after I’ve raved to everybody about this amazing must go to place 🤦‍♀️🤣

We went here on the recommendation of a friend. The food was excellent when they remembered that we were there. On arriving, we informed the lady on the till (the landlady?) that we had arrived for our booking, and she told us where to sit and said she would send someone over. We waited for over 20 minutes and I had to go back and spoke with one of the waiters who apologised and said they didn't know we had arrived!! Needless to say, we are not likely to rush back, which is a shame as the food is very good.

We popped in while in Hanbury on the Hill at lunchtime, mid week, we wanted to sus the place out for an evening meal while holidaying in the area. We sat in the middle bar, the fire was roaring, and there was good humour from the punters in there. We felt very welcome. The staff were absolutely lovely, which made it a very relaxed atmosphere. Before leaving, we took a look at the restaurant, it was so inviting that we decided to book in for the following evening. Fast forward to Thursday evening, on arrival, we were welcomed by Saf, despite it being a very new menu, she was very well versed and helped to direct us to our final decision. The food was spot on, I chose the Black Bean and Aubergine Tagine, my wife chose the Fish and Chips, great sized portions, hot, high class, and tasty food. DRINKS: I had the Timothy Taylor Landlord, a great drink, well kept. Wifey had a Pinot Grigio. We cannot wait to visit again very soon and in the future with family.
