Been coming the golden hind a few years now and always have couple beers and food BUT today I went and the new management are so friendly and Sam the chef today was bang on, ordered the cowboy burger and the hunters chicken, both were the best ever we have eaten here. Excellent food and service from start to finish

Great food, good portion size and really nice staff, well worth trying, have being using this place for years and never had a bad meal

This is my local fish and chippy and I'm quite pleased that I don't have to travel for a good one. On my doorstep and I love the food here. The tikka chicken and chips is a guilty pleasure and I'm always a satisfied customer when it comes to the comfort of fish and chips. The queues speak for themselves and as an ex Londoner, the prices are reasonable. Speedy, effective staff who get the job done. Thanks for your lovely business. 😍

The food was tasty and the service has been impeccable with prompt reply’s on our queries. The food choice was great and we were able to cater for every one including the children. Usually have to wait longer than estimated delivery time but the food is worth the wait just check your order as they have mixed mine up a few times

This chippy used to be the place to go for quality food but lately has gone down hill. The large kebabs are super tiny with over cooked meat and tough also the batter on the fish is not crispy like it was several months back and the fish was like eating squid. Not sure if it has changed hands or maybe the owner is away and staff have let the quality go down hill.
