Alishaan Takeaway in Birmingham

Very disappointed. The garlic naan and paratha was dense and dry. The dhaal was flavourless wet mush. The matar paneer was okay but too mostly just matar (peas) which made it very sweet.

all meals ordered were super tasty & authentic. recommended

Horrible experience with this indian, picked some food up on my way home, I ordered a chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka starter, boiled rice, chips, naan and popadoms got home and opened everything up to find a chicken tikka starter and a large chicken tikka starter instead of my chicken vindaloo curry. I called up to asked why this was and got accused of lying about what I order, why would I lie about ordering two lots of starters. The guy was very rude on the phone and did say he would bring me out my curry in the end after clearly realising he had made a mistake. He did say I could keep the other stuff but once he was at the door he asked for it back just a warning if you get a chicken tikka starter from here it might be the one I sent back. Which is a food safety hazard in itself. I will not be going back there every again.

cheese nana had no cheese on, curry it self was too spicy when it wasn't a spicy curry

Driver was rude and I had to leave my child in bed to meet him after I explained my reasons for not being able to. The driver was ignorant to my needs, I have always been pleased with the service from Alishaan prior to this incident and I question whether I will order from them again

I was very impressed with the food from alishaan when I visited Birmingham recently. I am looking forward to returning very soon and can highly recommend the balti which I enjoyed very much. I found the service excellent and the staff warm and welcoming and can honestly say this is now my favorite tandoori restaurant.

Had keema naan tonight had to send it back as it was stale got another one delivered it looked like a jam sandwich no meat in it very disappointed as we order from here every week not anymore

One of the items was incorrect

So unhappy with my food threw chips straight in the bin they had black on them weird goo no cheese were deffo heated up, curry and rice was cold lamb had crunchy bits, I'm disappointed and let down I want a refund!

I've ordered from here a few times, never had a problem, always hot, on time and tasty, only issue from last night order was the onion bhaji was over fried making it far to crispy to eat.

The Samosas were tiny never worth the money

Not happy at all grease every were mint sauce spilt into cartoons !! Dilvery driver was rude never again

All was good but just eat Webb site ask about everything and is hard work from a phone please remember that we are not all sitting in front of a Pc

Tasty meal everything was cooked well and tasted good shame the delivery driver let the experience down he didn’t hold the bag up for me to take it from him I literally had to bend to take it from him and his face well might crack if he smiled

Food is 10/10 the peshwari naan was the best I’ve ever had

Super flavourful, from the pakora to the curry. The rice was lovely and soft and the salad was crunchy. The chips were so delicious and spicy, too. A great meal.

Food was tasty although a little cold when it arrived. Ordered a tropical balti but there were no prawns in it. Curry sauce has stained my fingers and worktop.

Good taste, horrible packing-all sauces were everywhere...delivery was very late and he blame us that he couldn't contact us- nobody did call us.

First , good prices, however time window they gave themselves was about 1 hour 20 minutes, not the 50 minutes advertised and they delivered 10minutes outside the latest time. Food was Ok with plenty of sauce on chicken korma but the bar b que starter was disappointing Would use again for curries in sauce if for my wife and I but if going big with guests particularly if ordering bar b que starter , I woudl go for a more expensive option.

Both currys turned cold as ice , the tandoori roti had to throw it in the bin as after certain time u cant eat them as they go stiff,

I ordered and paid for a portion of 2 poppadoms and these were not in the bag there was 1 single poppadom attached to outside all broken

I would drive 500 miles. I did. Shame I can't get this quality at home in Scotland.

My curry’s has less meat and chicken it in and more gravy! I did not get the amount I paid for which I was not very happy about and just eat don’t have option refund either! Not good

Curries were okay. Just okay. Starters were dripping in grease, hard, over cooked, and very salty. Poppadoms not nice and dip very thin and tasteless. We could have eaten out for what it cost.

First time order, wouldn’t order again! Cold chewy meat in curries. Naan bread not cooked, very doughy! Chips hard and cold.

To be honest I got to say I was very very very disappointed with the food, it had no taste at all, I ordered chicken tikka in naan wrap and it turned out to be Roti same as with the sheesh kebab wrap The paneer tikka was hard chewy and bland I would not order from this place again I had to eat something else than what I ordered I wasted 22 pounds on food that had no taste This place is not for desi people who love their spices etc If you love your food and think that this place will offer you good desi food trust me you will be disappointed just me Only if I was driving I would take it back to the restaurant

Our food was Excellent last night, the Naan breads are the best ever. A big thank you to the delivery driver, just eat had our house number wrong & he always remembers!👍👍👍

Excellent curry's, not only tasty but also a lot of sauce. Rice great, naan not the best but good enough- tricky to get just right on a takeaway basis. Price excellent -- so, great value

The butter chicken was so sweet and doesn't have any resemblance to a regular butter chicken in terms of flavour and looks. Totally inedible due to its extreme sweet content. We were expecting a curry but it tasted like chicken desert. The naan was okay but the paratha wasnt like a paratha but like tandoori roti.

Awful tonight. We’ve ordered from here multiple times over the last 3 years but this will be the last. Bhuna was really unpleasant. Masala SWIMMING in grease. Took ages to come. Popadoms stale. Roti hard. Nasty. Annoyed I’ve wasted £30.
